Pernicious? Not at all. We’ve made a statement that we believe would be in thinking with Walfrid’s ethos as we have done for several years.
It’s quite simple, if the board sign up to being accredited living wage employers, we’ll drop the issue.

Big thank you to Gearóid98 for getting me my ticket to see the Dubs winning the All-Ireland football final yesterday. I was brought up supporting the Dubs, we travelled as a family all over Ireland to watch them.
Yesterday, myself and my five siblings still living here, attended the game as did three of our children.

Of course I do I’m taking part in the Celtic Foundation sleep out in November and I’ve already participated in other Foundation events.

I am saying the Board have run our Club well and if ” we ” don’t think so,and you have, then your entitled to your view.
My view is I would rather have 10 people employed fairly than 8 on an arbitrary policy designed by external forces.
Sorry that you, or maybe it’s we, think I look silly.

You are trying to justify your position on the Living Wage, the Board don’t agree, I am saying I have faith in their overall stewardship. They understand the whole club you simply focus on one element that suits your agenda.

but theres something about pub golfers i just dont get

I’m assuming they’ve made this golf course “easy” to play, far to many low scores, long putts, chips from bunkers. It makes for great TV I guess but would’ve been better if it was a stinking course with the potential for any player to collapse.

No, we meet with Celtic regularly on many issues. For the first time ever the club will be supporting a resolution proposed by us at this year’s AGM.
We will continue to push the club to become LW accredited because we believe that would be what Walfrid would have believed in.
I’m off for now but I’m still waiting to hear your response to two things.
