Do you remember the game after the Cluj Champions League debacle last August? Of course you do, you are still chasing the cold from you bones, it was a League Cup encounter with Dunfermline at Celtic Park, where the Championship club took the game to extra time. The game, the only domestic cup tie in 34 games we have not won in 90 minutes, was six minutes from going to penalties before James Forrest settled things.
I don’t know what happened in the dressing room between Cluj and Dunfermline but I cannot imagine it is a happier workplace this week. This is Celtic and everything goes on the line every game. Let’s not have a repeat of the Dunfermline performance.
I know a few Motherwell fans and they are unanimous in their praise of David Turnbull, their star 21-year-old midfielder who joined Celtic on a reported £3m deal yesterday. Turnbull originally signed for Celtic in June last year, before failing a medical. A knee operation, and the best part of a year in recuperation, saw him clinch his dream move yesterday.
The question now for the manager is, how does he shape his midfield? Therein lies the answer to our season.

These teams can have a short morning session to prepare, they can even pick their own team with Celtics in mind.
Remember most of these teams are coming to spoil and will go home ecstatic with a point, in football it’s much easier to stop a team than go and a win a game.
What a mess. We have Bayo scoring a brace on his debut (?) for Toulouse, Klimala on the bench (with no apparent injuries; if he is not match fit it is because Lenny has resolutely chosen not play him) and zero strikers in the team.
For having a supposedly stronger squad than Sevco, we sure are in a habit of not using it.
I hope today won’t be a slog, but I can foresee umpteen shots outside the box and not many players in it.

James Forrest had an article criticising Tam McManus for saying Neil didn’t have trust in Klimala. I said in comments he was way off the mark.
He hasn’t started a league game in 8 months, what more evidence do you want.

The leaked team is not the official team, as I looked back at other leaked teams that more often than not was not the official line up.
So maybe the mole is a clever double agent, winding up celtic supporters, who have meltdowns arguing about team selections, and cant believe lennon is picking that team (the made up team).
Then when the real team is announced, Celtic supporters go into meldowns arguing about team selections and cant believe Lennon is picking that team (the real one).
Meanwhile Well manacger is changing his team and tactics for the 6th time in an hour as the leaked team is not the team lining up.
