Festival day for Celtic

328

There’s going to be a Festival atmosphere as Celtic make their home in Edinburgh for the first time tonight. With the away win already secured, and the opposition little more than tourists, we’ll see little of what Ronny Deila has in store for us this season.

Get through early, car pool, or take bus or train, and show Edinburgh what it’s like to have a great team make their home in the city.

Having spent 20-odd years living in Edinburgh in the past, I am more envious than a huge great big envious thing of the Bhoys who will be attending Murrayfield tonight.

Have a great craic lhads and lhasses.

I had a wee bit of a suck-cheeks-in indrawn breath moment when I read Paul’s blog about the opposition being little more than tourists… bit lacking in respect IMO.

    However, my hope is…

    O Murrayfield in the sun

    Celtic 7 … Reykjavik none!

They come from dear old Donegal and even from New York,

From every street in Glasgow they proudly make their way,

To a place called dear old paradise and this is what they say.

  6. TEEMU Pukki will lead the line for Celtic tonight as Ronny Deila makes just one change to the starting XI that overcame KR Reykjavik in Iceland last week.

The Finnish striker replaces Anthony Stokes up front, who misses tonight’s UEFA Champions League second round qualifier through injury, and will be backed up by the same attacking three that played in Iceland.

The Hoops take a precious 1-0 lead into the match, which will be held at the BT Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh as Celtic Park prepares to host the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.

    Kick-off is 7.45pm.

    Tonight’s team:

CELTIC (4-2-3-1) Forster; Lustig, Ambrose, van Dijk, Izaguirre; Johansen, Mulgrew; Griffiths, Commons, McGregor; Pukki

Subs: Matthews, Bitton, Boerrigter, Zaluska, Watt, Kayal, Henderson.

    Getting in stadium tonight.

Go in any gate, your ticket gets scanned, then walk round to perimeter of stadium to your area.

  10. I know this is been asked a hundred times but i am going to subscibe to celtic tv will tonights game be on and anybody no how much

  11. Someone mentioned earlier that C Gordon had been taken on with the intention of being our no 1. Thought struck me, Pletikosa who later played in World Cup was deemed not good enough for us but yet we are willing to take a chance on a goalkeeper who has been out for 2 years.

I need to renew my UK passport. If you are living in Europe you must now apply for your passport online. There is no other way. If you turn up at a UK consulate in a real emergency they will extend if for you. Maximum one year.If that is not useful or its not what you want then you must apply online and they only accept Mastercard and Visa. Not American express and not a EU maestro card but a UK Maestro card will do.

If you send an email to their recommended inquiry email address ukingermany@fco.gov.uk and it has the word “passport” in it. You will automatically get an email back withing minutes (7 x 24 )telling you that they no longer have anything to do with passport inquries and everything is done through the application website along with a FAQ url which does not have my question on it.

Which is basically if you want to renew your UK passport you must be in possession of a Visa or Mastercard

Well it is Europan night :-)

  14. C’mon Celtic, play good stuff – let’s see what you can do – and give a nice win.

Isn’t just great to see the team taking to the field.
