Doing so well – that’s a sickener. It feels like Shaktar away last year- we won’t have a better chance to take points from them.

We knew we needed a goalie and this is the difference at this level. wall poor but the keeper shouldn’t need a wall from that distance
why have you’re smallest player on the wall , who breaks towards the ball and turns side on , big Joe right to go ballistic at the defending..
Terrific team performance undone by an aging keeper whose best days are behind him at this level.

Didit deserve that, but a pretty woeful goal to concede.
Reo looking well short of match fitness, which gives the back four limited options when playing it out.
Played as well as we’re capable of. Really soft goal. Scales has been good but he’s hesitant in going for a ball that should be his. Next phase he fouls the man. I’m looking at Joe Hart saying why are you nearly in Amsterdam for this free kick? Slow bouncing ball beats him. Soft.
Hatate has been our weakest performer. AJ and MO’R immense.
I said 3-0 before the game and will stick by it. We’re not at the level.

Celtic have given as good as they got in that half and have blown it by giving away such a poor goal.
Joe Hart needed replacing and that has not happened. Even with the wall moving he is too far over leaving a gap like that.
While we could sit deep and hit on the break we were well in the game. Needing to score will play into their hands leaving space for them now they wouldn’t have had.
Still a chance here but that goal is a sickener.
Feynoord were talked up a lot before this game as being some team. If they are, I haven’t seen it so far. They are good but not great.
Some of Celtic’s decision making in the final part of the pitch is not helping either.
We’ve played well in parts.
Their best chances have come from our lapses.

All is not lost
Hart wasn’t blameless either, far from it.
A blind man galloping by on horse could see Joe was too far to the right.Very poor keeping. With a bit of belief wee could have been in front but find ourselves in an all to familiar position
also iffy free kick to give away , any touch from our player around the box and they are going to ground for a free kick.
It’s really poor from Joe. He can’t be beat from that distance, wall or no wall. That should be saved.
Most of oyur problems have been of our own making . two good chances for Reo not cashed in on . Some poor passing too although the goal was the worst . The defensive wall melted away and Big Joe was slow to react to the shot which should have been saved . Not out of it by any means though . Palma has been a bit of a luxury , maybe time to give Yang a chance.
Really good performance for 45 minutes. Then they effed things up at the freekick. Poor positioning from the keeper & shambles of a set up on the wall.
Reo could be a bit sharper with his decision making &, the defence could be served better to clear the ball upfield on occasions
Just feel if we’d spent a few bob on a bit of quality we’d do this mob!
