Miki67 had a brammer of a post around tea time on the last thread. Sadly he’s in hospital just now but his post was a must read for everyone if some of you clever guys can cut and paste.
Don’t think Man. United would put up such a poor performance in a pre season game. Found some of the players performance embarrassing. Kris Commons awful.
I never saw the game tonight so can’t pass any comment on the game, but for Celtic to be beaten 6.2, makes me worry a lot about the way Celtic play these games.
I know they are playing friendly games supposedly to get fit, if they want Celtic players to get fit take them to Seamill for a couple of weeks, running up the sand dunes will soon get them up to scratch.
Sorry I may be one of the moaners that come on when Celtic play badly. But I pay good money for a season ticket, I think I’m entitled to do a bit of moaning,You may have noticed
I haven”t said anything about the Management Team…Yet, but if we are going to just accept defeats like that, then come the first home qualifier for the CL, people will query where has all the supporters gone.

teams have us sussed. We are laborious in build up and the swift counter attack is our achilles heal. So obvious.
Better teams (even furth) easily expose us. Barca and Spartak didnt because we didnt play that tactic against them.
Tonight was the first time I’ve seen Balde, Virgil & Mouyokolo and while it’s far too early to form an opinion on their quality, I didn’t witness anything from any of them that filled me with any hope that our team has been improved.
On the contrary, if none of them show any improvement and if this is what we have to look forward to this season, then, I see it as more money that the club has wasted. Again, it’s far too early to judge, but I don’t feel too positive about any of them at the moment.
I’ve said many times that the money we waste on players who are just not good enough for first team football could have bailed out a small bank, or more importantly been invested in our training academy.
Strikers and Centre Forwards are the biggest culprit in this financial waste. So many have passed through Paradise without ever making a significant contribution other than to our debt. Bangura, Murphy, Rasmussen being the latest trilogy of duds that have cost us a small fortune. Let’s hope Balde is not the next candidate for the title of dud.

The vast majority of fans don’t have a clue about football. Hence the hysteria over a pre season friendly. And of course fans can have an opinion just so long as you remember the content aint worth diddly squat.
It’s important that fans aren’t discouraged from making their opinions known on football matters (they pay their money) and from time to time they might be correct which is almost on every occasion a stroke of luck as opposed to any far sighted insight into any particular aspect of the game.
No, the inexperienced unqualified football fan should be humoured like a small child. a there there there approach is best at worst.

Your comment concerns me, as I’m pretty sure that my season ticket does not say anything about moaning entitlements.
Am I being short-changed here? Will be on to the ticket office tomorrow to clarify why some supporters have this moaning entitlement with their season ticket and others don’t.
Do not mistake this comment as a moan…at the minute it is only a concern.
