  1. BTW.

    Cricklewood full of pretentious assholes..

    Ill get barred in ten..8))

Think they sell dry blackthorn. .

  2. 67Heaven ... I am Neil Lennon..!!.. Ibrox belongs to the creditors on

    Who was in goal….. Sally?

I got your mail, I tried to call B/T twice today but he’s galavanting around the border towns and not answering his phone, I can’t moan at him as I’m inclined not too answer mine either. I’ll have to find out if he’s going, and, or whether it will be a Trevor Howard meeting at the Station.

  4. Victors late withdrawal does heighten expectation that things have moved on and he is about to leave. We will miss him big time. Kayal was extremely poor tonight,ok he was one of many but he doesn’t look like the man to replace Victor. I accept that you have to give lads a chance to settle down but Balde doesn’t even look like a footballer,he has shown no touch at all. Now Lenny said they always saw him as a work in progress and thats ok but it means that we cannot expect a lot from him this year. If Hoops goes we could be in serious trouble. I think we should give Hoops a million to sign a new contract with a buy out clause of 7million. He will have money in bank be drawing top wages at CP any Club buying himin next 3 years would have to stump up 7 million so we would get our original million back.

Victor in line up then removed at last minute… Hmmmmm. Left us with soft friendly underbelly, then dazed and confused perhaps?

Rumors saying he is now off for 12 and 20% sell on fee.

Well, lets hope we further strengthen our Midfield and Defence because

obviously Kayal is not the answer and we certainly miss Broony

& The Defence also needs to be further Strengthen especially for

CL Away matches because other Teams in Europe would have a

Field Day against our present crop of players

We may get away with our weak Defence in the SPL but Europe is

    a different proposition/hurdle

If anyone fancies a break from the football and, dare I say it, a wee tiny bit of perspective, there was a stunning interview with Clive James on Radio 3 last night.

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b036j250

There is an interview with Jane Campion at the start. The Clive James section starts on 16 minutes 40 seconds.

    Well said Cork Celt.

  10. jimbo, Yes Miki’s post was something special, I exhanged a couple of posts with him afterwards and sadly the message he was giving was not what we wanted to hear. He lurks all the time so I think as many as possible should send him a message now and then. He may not respond but he does read them. Hail Hail miki67 YNWA

    evening gents

lets not loose perspective we haven’t started any games that count yet, the time to worry about results will come soon enough, look on the bright side, how would you feel if God forbid you had an Easdale on the bored? Or could only afford 30 something strikers, and free agents? We still haven’t dipped our toes into the transfer market proper yet, as we still own both Vic and hoops, who knows what’s around the corner for us but worrying wont change it!

You made me smile tonight – I hope and pray for you sir.

  13. To all those telling us tonight was just a friendly, how many times have we witnessed the same garbage in the past 2 seasons?.The point that most of the fans upset with that showing tonight is that we have not improved at all in this period. We still are mind numbingly slow in our build up.Our first touch is terrible 90% of the time.We have signed a big new striker. What service has he had?.Our set pieces, one of our strong points, have been atrocious. We are NOT improving, and as I

  14. You learn more from one defeat than from a dozen victories. Neil Lennon’s knowledge has increased many-fold over the last week and a half!

As Edwin Markham said: “Defeat may serve as well as victory to shake the soul and let the glory out.”

    And one for the purists:

“I would rather lose in a cause that I know some day will triumph than to triumph in a cause that I know some day will fail.” (Wendell L. Willkie)

Just had a chat with the guy who put it where it now is.

The original thoughts, from De Vere, were that the boat would sail from Cameron House to The Carrick and return on a regular basis. Just a wee gimmick. The problem was that the boat is flat bottomed and didn’t like Loch Lomond.

The expensive paying guests widnae have liked being chucked into the loch even on a nice day.

    Hence where it is now.

I got a bone scan tomorrow, it’s likely I have a benign tumour in my shoulder bone- there’s nothing to suggest it’s something to worry about, thank God, though I’d rather not have it all ! Getting to the point where they can confirm it has been awful – I’ve been sick with worry. Hearing your story and how you have been and your daughters has really helped me.

Note on 4m 10 secs for a wee hint at how good George Connelly was.

Of course there were 2 great 2nd half goals from John Hughes & Bobby Murdoch.

It’ll be good to get to competitive games.

I’m sure tomorrow is a formality . Best of luck. Be sure to give us all the good news tomorrow.

  21. I have CelticTV but I have not bothered getting out of bed to watch any of these games.I wouldn’t open the curtains if there was a Celtic pre-season friendly in my back garden. A complete waste of time as a spectator sport. Would someone please wake me up when the season starts?

    Thanks. Going back to sleep.

Best wishes my friend. You’ll be fine and in a positive way you’ve faced up to your concerns.

  23. Tom McLaughlin, my best mate in Celtic has exactly the same attitude as yourself. I wouldn’t even think of calling or texting him to chat about the game. I know exactly what I’d hear and it wouldn’t be pleasant,

I had a bone scan a couple of weeks ago snd I know how worried you must be. Keep your spirits up and hopefully it’s a good result.

I’ll be thinking of you mate.

    Take care.

Chris is constantly asking for you. He’s still sleeping on a camp bed at his aunts bedside. He’s been doing that for 4 weeks now. They gave her 2 days – 2 weeks ago. She’s a battler! He did come on and post you a message but you probably didn’t see it all things considered. I’m dragging him along on sat. He needs a wee break.
