That’s the best I have seen Celtic on a plastic pitch HH
CQN site mayhem with no explanation, I blame Peter Lawwell
Consumate away performance on Hamilton’s better plastic where you don’t get divots and turf marks like Livi’s . We don’t get ‘stonewallers’ either it seemed and the big comedy coverage by BT who seemed to love every minute of it not being given, especially Super Salary.
It was just ‘too early’ in the game the referee ( he with previous ) felt sorry for Hamilton and Celtic fans knew from the way the game opened , it was merely a momentary delay in the journey back down the motorway with three points .
Bounce game for Celtic where the first goal was sublime in execution and straight from Jock Brown’s training ground commentary days, Ryan Christie used his mere momentum to zip the ball into the roof of the with no need for back lift, just direction, after a classy corner and weighted pass.
0-3 in preparation and the perfect pathway to Trondheim where Celtic will face stiffer opposition and stiffer still, at our second home again in Hampden in a final appearance and treble leg from which we could not be cheated.

I have looked in at Sentinel Celts a few times and while they do bash the board have not seen any criticism of CQN.
Sheep losing 3 nil, Hertz losing 2 nil. Hibs level after losing 2 nil home lead against Dundee & Huns holding on to a one nil against Livi.

Comfortable in the end and never looked in any danger, but with all the possession we had we should have got the second goal much earlier. A better team than Hamilton could have punished us.
The tempo was a bit slow and we didn’t stretch their defence enough.
Clear penalty at the start of the game. The wall at the Griffiths free kick looked about 7 yards away! And what was going on with the balls?
Anyway, another win and clean sheet. Next stop Norway.

Agreed we reverted to our predictable side to side and safety in possession style.
JF and SS killed momentum constantly with returning the ball to where it came from and zero intent to take on man.
To be fair to SS he made some more positive runs in the second half.
Christie was the only midfielder who attacked final third.
