Celtic (the football team) not quite family but for me it’s unconditional love …. for others to have different feelings, fair enough …. I would rather be discussing how good Ryan Christie will be once our Capitano is back running the midfield … far too many good things on the park to let other stuff get in the way of enjoying these times …. this is not dismissing Res 12, the cheating refs or the clowns running Sevconia :-)

  2. Well good result today and good performance. The team now is really performing again, lots of top players missing some top players tired but we now can play within ourselves and still get a result and more importantly a performance.

MAHE THE MADMAN @ 7:49 PM,

I’m not quite sure what this spate it about and unfortunately care little…

…certain things strike me though, like Alex McLeish on Tuesday, your use of a pronoun is telling…

    Good stuff.:-)

Did I hear Girvan had a great result today?

Bankies and St Rochs both through to 5th round.

Whilst I agree that Celtic is sacrosanct some may think that the board feel the ole balance sheet is sacrosanct.

Perhaps everyone is losing their way here?

Cup final next week – what a great time to be a Celt.

The lionizing of ex political leaders likeNixon,Ragan,Obama,Blair and Thatcher is nauseating.

The hypocrisy of politicians is ever present.

I live in the USA and the disbelief of the American public that they are not always the good guys is constant.

My daughter was at John Hopkins uni when Obama was elected and i remember her phoning me super excited with the campus wildly celebrating in the background.

I told her of the Mark Twain quote of If voting made a difference they would not allow you to do it.

She has defended Obama steadfastly since though agrees he was underwhelming.

I think he was just doing as politicians do and being self serving to the detriment of the citizens who voted for him and the planet in general.

Nothing there that I disagree with.

Am sure as next Sunday approaches the posts will be different :-)

Not dismissing the league cup at all but Brendan seems to have made it more relevant … his first Celtic trophy or a continuation of winning every trophy (so far it will end one day) I remember when Neil went out to Morton after extra time in the early rounds… Neil prioritised the CL as he had a chance of reaching last 16 ? Think the Morton goalie had game of his life and Neil has made 8 changes playing some Aussie bhoy … Tom Togic or something …. roll on Rosenberg then Hampden cracking 8 days ahead

  10. macjay1 for neil lennon,. mcjay 55 years ago today a 24 year old man was executed in dallas by jack ruby, because ruby thought he had killed jfk, who did jack work for, who did lee work for, don’t know is the answer, who killed jfk don’t know, but if you ask Cyril wecht there was more than one shooter.hh. ps hope you are well.

  11. Welcome back CQN- what happened?

I think we need to grow up about our choice of Celtic sites.

I am comfortable mostly on CQN but I read the Huddleboard, Celtic Star, Sentinel Celts, Video Celts and James Forrest’s blog, and have posted on most of these. I rarely visit Kerrydale Street but I have nothing against them.

On every site, I will find people I agree and disagree with, and I have no problem in debating my position and accepting that it may not convince anybody.

In the end, it does not matter much. Just follow your own arrow and talk Celtic with whoever wants to talk Celtic.

P.S. It was the Lizard people that killed JFK. Zionists just did Lincoln:-)

  12. CORKCELT on 24TH NOVEMBER 2018 8:25 PM

Fair comment. Sometimes I’m totally scunnered with the stuff off the pitch, but chucking it isn’t an option.

Nothing wrong with having your own opinion but to try and shift the blame of our board’s cowardly actions on Res 12 with zero evidence is a fine bit of shark jumping.

I felt compelled to provide a bit of balance like i did when you insisted the Huns would finish in the bottom six.

Keep posting your my favourite poster. ?

Regan and Thatcher . Lions indeed.

  15. BTW

Is James Forrest back to being a tit again because he was less than spectacular today? I thought that, following his form of the last 18 months, he might have had to have 2 bad games in a row before he went back into Scapegoat House.

Nice comfortable win today but it was still no great exhibition of football, as per usual on that pitch. Nice to see Ryan Christie continue his good form though.

The thing about Ruby was that he was dying of cancer and Knew it. Therefore nothing to lose.

He was an associate of the Mafia ( although Jewish ) through his strip clubs.

The mafia hated the Kennedy`s .

But , as you say , who knows.

    Very well , thank you.

I am at a loss as to what site there are posters asking others to stop supporting Celtic apart from here, if you could point them out to me I would be grateful as I have yet to find one, I am being serious.

Sentinel Celts for some reason is taking a slagging here, for why, cos the few posters on there have a differing view to many on here, none of them are asking others to stop supporting the club, they are advocating for change in how the game is governed, but no way are they asking what you are suggesting.

It’s all very childish if the truth be told, posters anry happy that another site has started up so they slag it off, weans would be embarrassed so they would.

Don`t know , so don`t have an answer.

The few posts I read yesterday seemed very disconnected to all things Celtic… very little football chat and one or two disparaging towards the “board loving CQN” again as you posted earlier it’s all about opinions and definitely no need to get the Celtic boxer shorts in a twist :-) as Corkcelt also posted the more Celtic blogs the better for me CQN is by far more than enough for me…. as the other Celtic blogs say “thank F for that” :-)

So do you really think big bad Sky made Celtic ditch Res12?

    C’mon really?

Maybe they threatened that Jim White would report live from Celtic Park 365 days a year. ?

Or maybe just maybe our board have put money and corruption before maintaining a resemblance of a sport.

C’mon i know your a betting man, what is your opinion?
