Hartson late mea cupla

827

I’m sure Ronny Deila is delighted to have the backing of John Harton, now he doesn’t need it.  John’s attachment to the club is not in doubt, nor should a new manager want unquestioning support from anyone, but some clubs reach a point when they become unmanageable.  Influential voices collaborate with perma-upset media and fans to expose shoots of recovery to a winter frost.

The mea culpa, when it arrives, is often too late.

Save us from the click bait that is suggesting Craig Gordon is a ‘target’ for some or other English club.  Derk Boerrigter is interesting Real Madrid, honest, they’ve been watching him with the Development Squad.

I’ve been waiting for weeks on someone to ask the question: if a club accepts money on the condition that the lender has the right to appoint two directors, in the event the club removes those directors, do you reckon that would be a breach of the terms of the loan?

I’d be extremely worried if a well-intentioned, but nonetheless, baying mob chased away the last independent director of my club.  Many Germans celebrated the Armistice, thinking a conclusion to hostilities had been agreed.  Months later they learned the terms left them bereft of land, defensive capabilities, capital equipment, authority and self-respect.  What seemed like an end to the trauma only set in motion far greater horrors.

Our good friends at Magners have offered two premium seat tickets for tomorrow’s game at Celtic Park.  To win, email me the name of the team we’re playing at celticquicknews@gmail.com

Competition closes at 5pm tonight.  If you would like to help build a school kitchen for 909 hungry kids for Mary’s Meals in Malawi while entering the competition, you can donate £1 here.  Thank you.

GM, changes due to injury are inevitable. I don’t like changes due to counting your chickens i.e. resting players.

Get the nine point lead with the strongest team available.

Contrary to a previous post(2153),the party with the greatest number of seats must declare that they have been unable to gain sufficient support from other parties to form a government before the next highest party can try form a government,so the scenario which stated could not have come about.Sorry, but Labour did not get the chance even though Clegg had ‘discussions, with Brown.

I’m taking my wee lass to the game tomorrow. Just got her back after 18 months in the Netherlands and she’s off again shortly for 5 months in Cambodia. I’d like her to see a full on Celtic destruction of St J, not a half hearted makeshift team. She’s not really into football and the last game she was at was the Ross C borefest.

Ronny will do us proud and I’m expecting a big win tomorrow. I hope we get a decent crowd.

By trying to twist what I said doesn’t justify your argument.

I know full well what Graham meant when she was addressing Tom Divine, unfortunately for your argument she is one individual and she on her own doesn’t make policy decisions.

While I find hard to argue against the argument that this act is primarily aimed at Celtic fans, other than it being my own personnel belief I have no facts to back it up.

I actually took time off work to go along to the Parliament building to protest against the OBB, I also gave up a saturday to protest outside the SNP conference in Aberdeen last year, don’t ever remember seeing you at any demo in support of those who are affected by this legislation.

I honestly find it disgusting and an insult to all our forefathers that there are those opposed to this act that choose to do nothing constructive other than post on blogs their disgust about this legislation.

As I said earlier stick to facts, using petty insults and demeaning insinuations will only lead to people switching off and scrowling past.

I would play a changed team tonight, not to rest players but to give ghuys match practice together before the two vital cup games against Dundee Utd.

Otherwise we go into the SC QF with a recently untried unit.

Start with Forrest and Henderson in the GMS Armstrong roles and if it’s not working bring on Zig and Zag with 30 to go.

Every single SNP MSP voted for the Offensive Behaviour Act.

This law discriminates against football fans but more importantly was brought forward by the SNP (who were in Government) in order to deliberately increase crimes committed FROM those from an Irish or Catholic background.

Government Statistics which detailed Bigoted or Racist crimes were predominately committed AGAINST those from an Irish or Catholic background by were destroyed. The prejudicial law was brought in to “equalise” crime count.

Leaders of the Scottish Government Project set up by the SNP on the back of the “shame game” at a cost of £9 million recently admitted they could not define what “Sectarian” was.

Most cases end with the Sheriff accepting that no offence had taken place and that merely the arresting Police Scotland Officer was offended and the alleged behaviour was not in itself offensive and certainly not relative to the act, which, again, was brought into law without even defining the word “Sectarian”. Despite repeated failure, Police Scotland backed by the SNP Govt; have carried out targeted harassment of Celtic supporters, which, in itself, is an action of discrimination and prejudice on the historic culture of many of the people whom they want to vote for them. Lives ruined for just going to the football.

To any Celtic fan reading, please remember the above every single time the SNP are promoted or defended and think about the credibility of who says it and how often they betray our Supporters just to promote their political beliefs.

    =============================================================

I don’t know from whence this undying love of all things Scottish and the SNP came from within the Celtic support.

Our long-standing support had/have a detestation for the nationalists – so it must be coming predominately from the ‘johnny come lately’ younger members – you know the ones who get Celtic fined over and over again.

There is a clique of them on here and unlike any free speech forum they gang up together to shout down anyone who disagrees with them

I would say there are probably around twenty of them – I had a wee look at their ‘corner’ on Inter night – there were not many around.

Now watch them gather around and call me a hun and a wearer of the butcher’s apron – you see they never have a cogent/researched argument to put across – name calling and bile is the order of the day.

I have nothing in common with these people, but for the fact that we are on a Celtic forum.

Such is their wilful political blindness that they can’t even condemn Graham and the SNP for the disgusting OB law – they dance round about it and appease those who look to ‘even up’.

Can you imagine if it had been the Glasgow Council who put such a law into force – they would have been called all the ‘huns’ of the day.

Hypocrisy and Nationalism are comfortable bedfellows (bedwetters) – always the ends justifies the means.

Right go on fill your boots – you make me laugh !!!!!!

If you think the former Labour supporters who are now in favour of the SNP are just a bunch of kids, you are in for a shock. The breakdown of the referendum vote should tell you that, and my personal experience backs that.

If the Labour Party don’t win back a high proportion of disaffected voters, they will lose around two dozen of their seats to the SNP. Sticking your head into the sand is NOT an option.

Although it will probably be as effective as anything that can be done in only two months.
