Helsinki to heaven

684

So how many of us checked the fixture schedule a month or so back and thought, “We can win the league on the St Patrick’s Day weekend”?  Then came Motherwell and Ross County, now we will do well to win the league on the same date as Gordon Strachan’s team did in 2006. This seems to exercise Neil Lennon more than me.  I’ll take the win anytime, although where it’s won is far more important.

Having said that, anything other than a victory tomorrow would be a sign of something gone wrong.  Aberdeen have been wretched in recent months and the Celtic players have benefited from a rare free midweek, allowing rest and preparation.  They will also have more than sufficient feedback on last week’s capitulation to ensure muscles are itching to go.

This month’s edition of CQN Magazine has just launched, some have said the best yet!  We take you from Helsinki to heave, these have been special times for Celtic and we know how to enjoy them……….

It’s written by the CQN community, for the CQN community, and is absolutely free to read online (special thanks to those who voluntarily subscribed, the lights have been kept shining as a result).

You can read the Magazine by clicking on the double headed arrow at the bottom right of the graphic below.

    Petec,

You could not be more wrong.

There is no hatred in me for any human being.

I DO NOT hate this sad pair.

I DO hate the inhuman things that they have posted on this site.

If ANYBODY posts that kind of stuff then I WILL challenge it, no matter how tiresome it is for you or others to have to listen to me.

I’m a horrific Sinner, Always Sinning, I agree with a lot of what Kojo says.

Kojo is BRUTALLY HONEST, any bawbag can see that.

    Can you stop Judging Kojo?

It will do your MIND a lot of Good and it will release all that Satanic hatred that has infected your MIND.

No MAN can Judge anyone you OLD fool.

I wish I had listened to Mr Handyside and the song Downtown.

Neither. My mooth! :-) The best drink i ever had was a titty tequila and I don’t even like tequila.

    Bed time I think.

  5. petec, had planned to be in bed by now, but just one final post firstly to say hi to my pal kikinthenakas, a real sound man and a top Celt. Secondly to say to your good self if you are preaching tolerance for other posters which is a laudable enough thing to do, you need to practice what you preach. Calling KK an “Old Fool” is not exactly being tolerant to his views. As it happens KK is far from a fool, he is one of my favourite Posters and I always look out for his posts and that mt dear petec is my prerogative.

  6. Petec,

That is probably the funniest post I have ever seen on this site.

Hi Ghuys, Salve salve;- Apropos as a homage to whimsy, a wee vigniette about a conversation which I had this week. I have a very good friend who has a very interesting background, one which I fear would not endear him to some subscribers to this most venerated of sites. No, he is not a hun nor to my knowlege is he a mason or indeed a member of any kind of secret society, I will leave it there.

Anyhow this friend of mine has facilitated some excellent fishings for me and we had an excellent day on Wednesday of this week ;- no fish but sighted a few btw. That’s not the story, this is. He knows that Celtic is a great interest of mine and he told me about a mutual aquaintence who btw, I do not particularly like, and who referee’s football matches to probably a junior standard, has watched games involving the team he supports playing against both ourselves and the old rangers. He told my friend that whenever there were Celtic supporters around him in the stand, he felt perfectly comfortable but whenever it was rangers his team were playing he could almost touch the hatred and intimidation.

My friend has no interest in football or religion and we are whisky brothers therefore I believe what he told me.

You have many supporters on this site.

People who recognise that kojo and his other manifestations on this site are bigots.

It is as simple as that.

FFS are you not seeing that there are other view points outside your own?

Challenge them rather than condemn them or are you a chicken to take them on?

Let another person take them on and I will Support you ALL the WAY.

FWIW I love KK’s belief in Celtic, it is inspirational as is the Celtic Song, that is timeless just like the US Constitution should have been.

    Auldheid,

If you’re still around, I was at that game too.

I agree with every word reported on the game.

His performance that night eclipsed the Red Star game, although the latter was more significant.

Jerry Kerr had great respect for Celtic and after Neilly Mochan signed for DU, he said that it was always a pleasure dealing with Celtic.

The orange shirts did cause a bit of a stir and maybe inspired the wee man!!

Davy Wilson did show professional respect to Jimmy.
