Helsinki to heaven

So how many of us checked the fixture schedule a month or so back and thought, “We can win the league on the St Patrick’s Day weekend”?  Then came Motherwell and Ross County, now we will do well to win the league on the same date as Gordon Strachan’s team did in 2006. This seems to exercise Neil Lennon more than me.  I’ll take the win anytime, although where it’s won is far more important.

Having said that, anything other than a victory tomorrow would be a sign of something gone wrong.  Aberdeen have been wretched in recent months and the Celtic players have benefited from a rare free midweek, allowing rest and preparation.  They will also have more than sufficient feedback on last week’s capitulation to ensure muscles are itching to go.

This month’s edition of CQN Magazine has just launched, some have said the best yet!  We take you from Helsinki to heave, these have been special times for Celtic and we know how to enjoy them……….

    HH! until tomorrow when the meds’ll let me see straight enought to type!

     

    We don’t drink , we don’t take drugs, we eat well, we do what we’re told by the doctors and we will do what WE need to do make our lives last…….for us and no one else. We are tight and we are incredibly close. No one else gets in.

     

    Who knows how long we’ve got, but it’s ours. And no one else gets in or gets any of it.

    Sorry for the delayed reply. Tried to sleep there and couldnae.

     

    I really enjoyed the comp. Had to pick horses in races I would normally avoid and lo and behold they got beat. Great fun though.

     

    Could fancy that Tofino Bay for the National. Ran second in the 4 mile chase. Jumps like a tazered stag.

    Well it’s wet and cold here in west Fife. I note benfica in qtrs of Europa.

     

     

    I recall chat with Paul 67 re whether it was better for us to be 3rd in cl group and have crack at Europa when others were domestically distracted or go for CL last 16 with limited chance of progress.

     

     

    A Europa run would have stretched our season and we would have fancied beating Newcastle too.

     

     

    Maybe not as lucrative as CL 16 but more games potentially

     

     

    Interesting if benfica now one of favourites do get through to a Chelsea or spurs or lazio semi or final
