not beating himself up for making a rash challenge that he didnt need to do
even though you cant call it a challenge cos he wasnt even trying to challenge for the ball

I agree but then that opens the door to other questions. Are we signing decent players and making them worse?
If that’s the case, then we need to look at coaching, tactics and motivation more than recruitment.

The empty stands has kept Lennon in a job in my opinion. After the Prague game, it would’ve been toxic.

Brown has always been a strange player.
Some fans see him as a hardman type player yet I’m struggling to remember when he put in a bad challenge, he’s never really been dirty with us. He’s the most polite hardman in football :O)
He’s also not that vocal on the pitch when decisions go against us, he’s not the only one. The whole team just shrug and carry on, but you’d like him to be in the face of the ref all game (of course I know he might be booked, but do it).
The squad laud him, so he must be a great captain off the pitch.

The difficulty with those (and I include myself) who want a change is that if it did happen, who would the board bring in? Surely not John K? The fact that we have such an inept group of fuds running our club gives me as much fear as keeping him.
Simple coaching points
Our corners and set pieces are dreadful- christie has been wasting these for 2seasons
Today first half they got 3 great chances from our awful corners
Look at our throw ins- watch them; thrower gets ball and wastes 20 seconds looking for an option ( then we often choose wrongly and lose the ball)
Defence is criminally bad-i could honestly do better simply by calling players into position!!
Goalie stats are truly horrible-do the stats and you will see that every 3 shots on target is a goal
Please advise us why Marshall wasn’t brought in.

Regarding Ajeti, it’s clear to me that West Ham won the watch in that deal.

As per … very busy blog when “our” team don’t win … which is fair enough, again Easter Road has been a difficult venue for players & managers fircthe last few seasons, me personally with my head firmly in the sand that is a point gained today … two down around 12mins to go … are a few guid Tim’s now worrying about a challenge … is life better cruising title after title (although many will always be unhappy) that is s fact … as many posters don’t post when content … is that entitlement or contentment ? Who Knows … probably Neil Lennons fault for coming in when Brendan left, delivering the last 2 trophies, then getting the job while getting a wash, then going on to achieve the 9 with the possibility of another 2019/20 trophy while being the first Celtic manager to top a European group … I think I posted on here many moons ago that Broony will be remembered as a legend … well with Neil Lennon when our grandkids are looking back at our history like St Stivs does just now … I can assure you they will be mocking the Neil dissenters as a player, captain & managed twice he is still delivering … sometimes we don’t appreciate what we have ….

You can back him all you want but the “look at what he has done” does not exempt him from criticism surely?
No team has the right to keep on winning year after year.
9 leagues,3 trebles (almost 4) but if we don’t do 10 leagues…the toys are oot the pram…and it’s a conspiracy between our Masonic board (our masonic money loving board),our absentee landlord owner,the orange order, our overpaid Prima Donna players ,our useless manager all to arrange to lose the league so that our old firm rivals can be saved from going out of business..It’s just football chaps..It’s not real life and nothing has been won or lost yet…

A tale of two spot kicks at Old Trafford.
It’s hardly toys out the pram when you expect Celtic to win the league in Scotland.
The league is awful and yet we are making it so hard. Even if we were beating everyone but the Huns stayed ahead then fair enough but we look like dropping points in every game.
Win today six points behind with a game in hand. What I referred to earlier as a positive result. Not guaranteed but doable. A right back on the bench, but we expect wee Frimpers to do the job of three men. Praise on here for the Neil Lennon Christmas Ad, but the fact is our midfield and defence have been dishing out presents all season long. With seventy five points still to play for I am not for giving up on winning the league, but to do that somebody, in conjunction with others, is going to have to galvanise the club and the team. I said on here some time back that whatever it is that Neil Lennon is or isnt doing at Celtic Football Club, he is not coaching or managing the team, the job he is paid to do. His post match interview all but confirms that. I remember when we were younger we used to write a letter to Santa early doors and then send it up the chimney. Wi Neilly still in charge looks like this year’s dreams are likely to go the same way….
