In contrast 225mn Euros will be distributed amongst those in the Europa League.

Was talking to someone the other night who met craig beatie in a Lenzie pub and said he was onto 8k a week. Good to see the daft wee division 3 club are starting off on good financial ideals.
This time next week I’ll be home, so close I can almost taste it, first holiday in a year, got ticket for Hibs game at Celtic Park, if your around Im susceptible to pints….

I attended a wee function in London last night and met Pele and Michael Jamieson.There is nothing I can add about Pele-he is a genuinely nice man however Michael Jamieson was a terrific and modest person.He had just received his invite from Celtic yesterday afternoon to fix his diary to come to Parkhead to be presented to the support.He is a huge Celtic supporter and was overwhelmed by the youtube of the crowd chearing him on ” from the slopes of Celtic Park “. I have a nice picture taken with him proudly wearing his silver medal.

I hope the clowns masquerading as Celtic supporters who engage in phone ins tonight will put the alternative view that Scottish Footballs record in europe was just as poor with the former rangers in europe as it is now……1 win in 30 odd games even with the deified walter in charge IS a shocking return from our cheat champions….
somehow i feel it will be more about how we need to sign players ???? Quite how we encourage any top player or their agent to come to our club forSPL football and a chance of a few champs league games every few years god alone knows right enough…..but biscuit tine headlines will ensue despite the shambles of every other club in our league and many others…..

I appreciate that we have a surfeir of midfielders;I also appreciate that Ki is approaching the final year of his contract.
Also,I’ve long advocated the policy of scouting quality youngsters,bringing them on,and getting a good price for them to fund further teambuilding.
But Ki is potentially WORLD-class;the others are not.

Saw mention the other day of 7/9 Celtic kids in some Scotland squad, Celtic are Scotlands youth development and a re quite right to keep the kids on our programmme rather than the notorioulsy inept SFA’s.

It has been well known in youth circles down the decades of SFA youth coaches targetting Celtic youngsters for other clubs, thats the main reason Celtic are not “in” also preventing burn out with youngsters

Whilst under the present regime, i will not watch 1 minute of any Scotland game whether it be a friendly or WC qualifier

I have the same thoughts on the SFA but refuse to let them take Scotland.
One of my best friends supported rangers, her boy is a great wee player, was with what was once rangers, she and the boy decided to move away from them last year and take up offers from either Celtic or Hamilton Accies as they were best for development. He signed for Accies, a good move. A lot of clubs were after him but only rangers (defunct) charged kids to train with them.
The SFA have previous for not doing the right thing with Hamilton Accies kids (James McCarthy) as well as others, best avoided.
