It’s very frustrating to hear one of our games on Radio Scotland when Rob Mclean is the commentator. The man doesn’t do radio at all and seems to think that anyone listening to him has simply turned the sound down on the tv picture. I find that it’s better to tune him out altogether and follow the pattern of the background crowd noise. As to the accompanying summarizers – dearie me!
Already looking forward to being at the game on Sunday.

Don`t know about Man U fans.
Far far less exposure to English football in the `60s than there is now.
One match covered by TV in Scotland and probably England .

Like you I love to see ” communion ” with other fans.
Missed the game tonight as I’m away for a short break with the missus. So grateful to CQN for updates. Switched on my mobile 4 times during dinner and we had just scored each time. Sadly didn’t work on 5th attempt :-). Many thanks to the guys who posted the goals. Made my night complete.
I love Celtic.

Another excellent performance from us tonight, long may it continue.
I saw an interview with Brendan , from yesterday’s pre match press conference .
In it he says , he can learn more listening to John Clark for a few minutes than he could from any coaching course. He said he talks to john and Danny McGrain a lot as they are in and around Bobby Lennoxtwn , often.
Brendan is our leader and long may that be the case.

When I’m not at a game, it’s better for me to watch it where music is played while the game’s on. Didn’t cover myself in glory at the Red Imps game last summer, in the H&B, because I could hear the biased commentary.
As an aside, my brother in law walks the hills and tells me going over to the Humphrey from Station Rd, you only need to get as far as the first trig point before there’s a view down the coast to Ailsa Craig.
It might be a small world but I wouldn’t want to walk it’s length.

I know. One of my many vague memories is a sunny early season match on the grassy slopes of Kilbowie before it became all seated. Couple a guys, few cans of lager, before the days of Kestrel and shell suits (maybe), Sons winning comfortably. Well, I was comfortable anyway.
Loved going to Kilbowie to see Davie Cooper. Hated Jim Fallon because he was so good against the Sons. Happy days, but they had to end. Didn’t they?
If only they had Dave King’s travel expenses.

Thinking about Davie Cooper and his choice of the wrong team.
What team would Jock Stein have picked if Jim Baxter and Denis Law were in the squad?
The answer is easy. But what if Joe McBride had been fit?
