Is it 1 or 12 in a row tomorrow?

1011

So what’s this, one in a row?  It’s been almost four years since that night in Dundee but when the questions concerning ineligible players are eventually answered, who knows, it could be 12 in a row or more.  We’ll find out soon enough.

The margin of supremacy Celtic have this season means that when the inevitable comes, whether it is two weeks or more after the earliest date the league could be won, the celebrations will not be as acute as they were in 2008 or even in 2001, when we finally knew our long period underfoot was finished, however, this will be recorded as one of the most important season’s in our history.

The methods which were used to combat Celtic’s re-emergence under Martin O’Neill and then Gordon Strachan have been laid bare.  The “crash and burn” predictions that so many of us spent years talking about, while Celtic ‘lost’ trophies but paid their bills have come true.

Tomorrow will be a special day.  Enjoy it.

Anybody fancy doing a whip round on here and paying the newsagents the £550 owed to them by Rangers?

  5. Good evening friends on this Championship Winning Eve.

Tomorrow evening I have my most important gig of the year – the Easter Vigil mass accompanying the oldest choir in the Western hemisphere. Will only allow myself one lunchtime celebratory alcoholic drink if things go our way obviously.

By 2.00 tomorrow we should be 21 points clear. That’d be a 36 (thirty-six) point swing in just 5 months and 2 days. Champions indeed.

Class mate. Nine of us hired a limo and travelled to swinecastle on Boxing Day a few years ago. What a day, got in, Decanters full of champagne but the Bhoys proceeded to pull out the Bucky et al, classy Bhoys from ML5. Limo came back for us later after we hit the town after the game. I literally fell out of the Limo on our return but what a day.

  8. Guys, anyone know how the big man sees this scenario?

Have been off booze for lent, looking forward to a nice beer after the Easter Vigil tomorrow night.

However, if we win the league at noon, would he mind if I had a wee beer to celebrate? Is that an understandable exception??

Or since I have lasted 39 days should I just wait for another 8 hours or so?

Well done. I have a nephew who has been in a similar situation. He has not been sober as long as you and is still struggling at times but is making great strides. Well done you – here’s to loads more sober celebrations.

    A heartfelt well done.

No mate season or two before the 2-3 game when Mick scored the winner. Never forget that for two reasons:

A mate bet us at 11/1 at H-T

Went back to one of Sisters’ House after the game Mother LB was there could not shut me up for love nor money, singing my heart out (painful for those who have to listen at the best of times). Anyway Mother said in front of the family I should stop drinking. I retorted, the day you stop smoking…that year she did and I am constantly reminded by her and all my siblings, Mrs LB and a Nephew of what I said that day…no doubt I will be reminded of that tomorrow night and God willing for many more celebratory days to come.

    True story by the way…:)

I believe that Lent is over. I base this on the fact that every year, for as long as I can remember, my Parish Priest gives out Creme Eggs to all the children after the Good Friday 3.00pm service and usually mentions something about how well many of them will have done by giving things up for Lent.

However, you could also do one of those wee Karma deals with God – you know, where you promise not to drink until tomorrow evening if He can see His way to making sure we win the league. If you do, let us know what He says; might help to ease the tension.
