So what’s this, one in a row? It’s been almost four years since that night in Dundee but when the questions concerning ineligible players are eventually answered, who knows, it could be 12 in a row or more. We’ll find out soon enough.
The margin of supremacy Celtic have this season means that when the inevitable comes, whether it is two weeks or more after the earliest date the league could be won, the celebrations will not be as acute as they were in 2008 or even in 2001, when we finally knew our long period underfoot was finished, however, this will be recorded as one of the most important season’s in our history.
The methods which were used to combat Celtic’s re-emergence under Martin O’Neill and then Gordon Strachan have been laid bare. The “crash and burn” predictions that so many of us spent years talking about, while Celtic ‘lost’ trophies but paid their bills have come true.
Tomorrow will be a special day. Enjoy it.

‘How r u? Has a replacement been decided yet for the cracking TB supper? Looking for an excuse to get through to auld reekie?’
All good thanks. Not sure if they’ll have a replacement for the TB Supper. I was in Teviot Union yesterday by coincidence – some great memories of those nights. It couldn’t be the same.
Next time you’re through at Easter Road or Tynecastle I’ll catch you for a pre-match cocktail.
All the best…and have a Killie pie on me.

There will be a small hoops presence at the Coventry v Peterborough game tomorrow: me & junior will be at the Ricoh after watching the Celts at 12.
This could be the first time that a chorus of “Championees” is heard at the Ricoh! Might even try a huddle, see how it catches on.
Mon the hoops, just win the thing, ok?
If Celts win the League tomorrow it will be the first trophy that we have won where I haven’t actually been at the game, since the 4-2 game on 21 May 1979.

Its getting so close you can smell it, feel it almost touch it. Not just a title, not just an excuse to party.
Its a lot more than that.
It is vindication.
Vindication of doing the right thing, even if it comes at great cost (and it has).
Vindication of standing up for honesty.
Vindication of standing for values that far outweigh silverware and baubles.
Vindication that makes the slings and arrows of wee arra peepul worth taking on the chin. ;)
Its more than winning a trophy, it is a statement to the world of who we are and, by comparison, who we are not.
Roll on V Day tomorrow hopefully, but its coming.
and then lets party.
