Killie dividend for torturous ESPN attacks

1056

It is very good news that Kilmarnock fans have voted to give Celtic three stands for next weekend’s game which will see the league title won if Celtic earn a point.  As a result, several thousand more Celtic fans will be able to attend the game and avoid listening to their club being belittled as they watch ESPN.

I hope Neil Lennon continues to speak in forthright terms when his team is undermined.

  4. Has there been any announcement about sums raised from their “charity” game against AC Milan?

I’d be very interested to know how much the charity fund actually got – as I’m sure would the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, which is looking into the game.

Big Nan that thought did cross my mind being older than I like to think. 1982. Time flies. ok Rick Mayal would do the job but a CGI like jar jar would be more realistic.

Ziggydoc haven’t been to Raro or any of the Pacific Islands. When I came here I had been travelling for five years and thought it was a great opportunity. This is being squeezed in because my oldest is turning 18 when we are on the beach and it is our last chance as a family. Quite a few of the extended whanau going too so it should be a very relaxing and chilled family holiday. If you get back to Tauranga/Mount drop in and say hail hail.

Aaah ! —— I love the Good Captain but that LP is dross . So bad -I refuse to give it house room.

Recently bought the recently issued official version of Bat Chain Puller —absolute killer [ 36 years on]. A purchase which caused me much cognitive dissonance. – I really wanted it but buying it means giving money to Zappa’s estate—— The Good Captain wouldn’t like that–

You are correct sir, there will be little or nothing for HMRC to get even if they win the big tax case, but for HMRC I don’t think it’s about the money from Rangers. £50m or thereabouts is pretty small change when you consider that there is approximately £1.7bn in EBTs across the UK from companies that can afford to pay this back.

HMRC won’t want to be put in a position where they do a deal with Rangers which means that other orgs can claim to be offered a similar deal. I think they’d prefer to take the hit on Rangers, see them liquidated and then go after the bigger fish.

  8. I think its not only the laptop loyal and the rangers fans who dont get the picture . We celtic fans are having difficulty grasping things too . We havent a hope in hell of seeing them out the game , no doubt they are in a mess, but they are being nurtured back to health .The rtc , phil, alex thompson. paul 67, auldheed and a few others have reported well on the matter , but not even them can keep track of the moves afoot to keep them alive. I was very sceptical about the ticketus deal . Something smells not quite right in that deal .But all thats required now is HMRC to be complient too, (and i wont be the least bit surprised if government intervention hasn,t already been applied ) and its game on . The governing body of scottish football will take care of the loose ends , licences, european participation . etc!etc!. jelly and ice cream cancelled. The only hope and best action for us ,was if EUFA had investigated matters , and the hope that the law had taken an interest in matters too , none of this happened ,it was left to their friends to sort out and what a job they have done . It is unbelievable what has gone on, and yet they will continue as if nothing has happened . its a sad sad period for the sport of football in this country . And indeed for my part it has rendered the sport and its governance a farce .

I’m sure you’ll all have a great time, feel free to spill the details on here so we can all eat our livers. My sis, niece and Aussie brother-in-law were over in Brisbane, etc, late last year.

I had the misfortune to view their holiday photos, and I mean that in the nicest possible way. The places they visited were AWESOME.

But for all the fact that Australia and New Zealand are fantastic places, all the kids somehow end up over here!

PS,I can visit New Zealand any time I like-it’s a wee village beside RAF LYNEHAM about ten miles from here……ya,boo, sucks.

When it all pans out Scottish Football will be faced with a choice —– Maintenance of the status quo or a Newco Hun which starts at the very bottom .

Celtic will have to decide .

Celtic supporters will have to decide.

I vote no to a SPL parachute . I vote no to any Hun Newco which doesn’t have to get down on its Hun knees and beg to be allowed to start at the very ,very bottom.. Otherwise -what is the point ?

Bobby Murdoch it has its moments but there isn’t a day goes past when I don’t think of home and when I get back home I wish I could stay a while longer. I am sure Barrhead isn’t that much different from deepest darkest Ayrshire so know where you are coming from. Life is short enough so I take my pleasure where I can and this year has been a Carlsberg year when it comes to Celtic except for Killie spoiling the party. Even that wasn’t too bad as I have a very good brickie mate who is a paper rosies singer and I couldn’t grudge him anything. If Her Majesty’s wind them up that will be icing on the cake.

  20. If you look closer at this so called ticketus deal , you will notice that they reserve the right to go after anybody who had incurred losses to them

Means If whyte sells his shares to blue knights then ticketus will

    Try and get 17m from

Whyte. Lol. Aye right as if whyte is that stupid. He is there to make a fast buck

Barca have played AC Milan 3 times this season –

    2-2 / 3 -2 / 0 -0.

Barca are a better team than AC Milan but to quote the Managing Director of Milan- ” football is a strange game -the best team doesn’t always win”

Milan will field a stronger team tonight. Poorer teams than Milan have beaten Barca this season.

Inter were 10-1 to beat Barca over 2 legs . Barca played Inter off the park[twice ] and lost . I made 100 euros.

I have speculated 20 euros on AC Milan tonight . I would prefer Barca to win but will gladly take the money —

What’s everyone’s take on Christening attire?

Do I (father of the baby) need to wear a formal suit, with shirt & tie and shiny shoes?

Would blazer/jacket, smart(ish) trousers and shirt suffice?

Thing is, my suits no longer fit (seem to have shrunk, strangely) and I resent buying another one when I can get a cool-looking blazer and do the whole Preppy Chinos & Jacket thing.

    BARRHEAD?

The Garryowen used The Flying Horse as a “facilities” stop when I was a lad-The Arthurlie was for the other lot!

My Uncle Jim insisted on continuing this tradition when we used to drive up,but abused the privelege somewhat. Frequently leaving me less than 20 minutes to get us to Celtic Park or Hampden.

Not a problem, really,as I enjoy driving flat-out,but he always insisted on another beer before the game, and on being there in time for one!

    Happy days………
