The north of Ireland is more Celtic than the south, you don’t get many in Derry and Belfast into the English teams but the stickies in the south support the English teams because they don’t get the hassle from the Brits HH
Sounds as if we’re playing well with a few hidden jems HH
Saint Stivs, Man Utd had a shop in centre of dublin & it flopped massively , i think i saw an article where they are still paying rent for the building till 2015, 13 years after its closed!!!
Celtic shop always has terrible exchange rate which is a bit cheeky of them…

EPL teams are seen as home teams in Dublin. RTE describe them in the first person, people always ask me which EPL team I support and I ask what Dublin team thay suppprt!! Usual reason is that Irish teams are not good enough and English always on the telly plus a lot of Irish players in England(plus the diaspora same as Glasgow). Celtic core support is more in the less affluent and more Republican voting areas(try getting a game on in town!). Can’t argue for folks to support a Scottish team over an English team(ruins my argument) so I urge locals to follow St Pats, Shamrock , Bohs etc. A lot of the support for EPL is pub support and glory chasing(hence Man C, Chelsea like in the far east). Remember that Dubliners are great sport followers and go to GAA and Leinster games in droves. ‘Soccer’ for many is a cheaper leisure activity. For the die hard “Pool fans who do can’t afford to travel, this is the first full team in Dub for 15 years , hence the mad dash for tickets. Celtic shop is in Jervis centre
Did Trisha go down on train? Just back from walking dogs how are we playing?
As regards Celtic v EPL. This has been discussed before but in ROI there is wall to wall coverage of EPL, you would struggle to find a Celtic score in the papers on a sunday. If a player doesn’t play in EPL or at least Championship then they are completely ignored for national team. Anthony Stokes pulled out of a squad for a friendly over two years ago and has never been recalled, on the other hand Eamon Dunphy regularly lambasts the manager for not picking his latest wonderkid, at this point he will list names of guys no one but their own mothers have heard of, playing in Darlington, Crewe etc. Most kids follow what they see on TV and they rarely see Celtic. In fact a few years ago a workmates Grandson came into work one day wearing an England top and saw nothing wrong with supporting Liverpool and England!!!

The new Ireland?
The new Ireland bankrupted them.
Going into the big bad world left them wide open to the wide boys, and they took full advantage.
I can’t source the article at the moment, but VANITY FAIR did a belter on the Irish selling their country.

It is a good open game.
McGeouch likes the big occasion
Stokes shot from edge of box saved comfortably
Surely as well, there will be a big travelling support from Liverpool ? I mean how easy is it to get there.
Goal liverpool.
Offside, nae luck Liverpool….
Looked offside on the reply.
Toure was off side!
