There is no outrage louder than moral outrage, so I ignored this week’s stupidity by Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston, adding volume seemed moot, but if you look below the bonnet of this decision you’re likely to find the real story. Kilmarnock FC is in a critical condition.
They need your money this week, probably even more than they need the goodwill of their own fans. Mr Johnston’s most damaging folly has not been to offer Celtic fans a better deal than his own club’s supporters, it has been the failure to address the club’s financial imperative over a long number of years. Like another club I can think of, getting cash in the door is the only game in town, as a failure to do so would bring enormous consequences.
It is the Killie fans who suffer as “Speaking as a solicitor” Johnston clings to what passes for power at a busted flush. Don’t apologise for this week’s self-harming insult, instead be contrite about the actions which brought about the problem.

St….,
ps.
yours is now a strategic fight, your raising a flag against a ruling class.
you won enough to take the motion forward, and huge admiration to Morrisey for making it happen.
but now, take a step back, get off the blogs, other than making a statement, dont get involved with the bawbags, take a step back , and get prepared for the motion, no more late night comments or blows with the hard of understanding.
box clever, no more sparring, dont give the opposition any ammo.
i like your fight and arguments at other times , but now its time to focus.
keep it lit.
longer game in in play

Canamalar,
There is nothing that could be added to the advice that St. Stivs has given you in the post above.
It was not your ‘bull in a china shop’ routine that got you the support that you have been
given.
DIPLOMACY is not a dirty word.
Don’t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Good Luck.
Auldheid,
Just got your email, apologies, please ignore my last drivel

SIR DAVID – CELEBRATING GLORIOUS PAST IS CORRECT THEME FOR US Rangers owner comes gifting bears
Outgoing Rangers owner Sir David Murray yesterday revealed his parting gift to the Ibrox faithful – a Rule Britannia Theme Park. And the new venture could be up and running as early as the summer of this year. Plans have been lodged with East Dunbartonshire Council to build the attraction alongside Murray Park and top designers who helped build Eurodisney in Paris have been drafted in to make sure it is one of the best attractions of its type in THE WORLD.
The new development, which is believed will create around 500 jobs, is the first of its type by a football club anywhere in the world. And in a typically bold move Sir David has secured funding from a number of sources including The National Lottery and Visit Scotland.
Speaking yesterday Sir David said “We hope to attract visitors from all over the country who feel pride in being British. But we will let people like Blacks, Asians and Irish in on receipt of a British passport or driving licence”.
The new park will feature a number of innovative rides and attractions which will celebrate Britain’s glorious past and also that of Rangers. For instance there will be the Bill Strewth gallery which will not only recognise one of the greatest managers in the clubs history but also Britain’s glorious imperial links with Australia and the Escape From The Deadly Maze which will see visitors trying to find their way out of a maze shaped like an H and featuring an entrance modelled on the one at Ibrox. The maze which will be a fun experience also educates visitors as to how certain groups of people should be treated.”The maze is my idea and one that I am particularly proud of”said Sir David.
The attraction may also feature Rangers staff both past and present dressed up as characters from Britains history. ”I think Dick Advocaat would make a fine Queen Victoria but of course he would need a wig” said Sir David, “and I could certainly see Walter Smith as Horatio Nelson”.
The centrepiece of the new park though will be a thrilling rollercoaster ride which will take visitors on a journey through the illustrious past of the Ibrox club in special cars modelled on former hero and full time sycophant Mark Hateley’s face. The ride will go through time and revisit crowd riots in Barcelona, Bucharest and Manchester with authentic sounds and smells and then enter “pre-1989 world” where users of the rollercoaster can experience being a real Rangers supporter once more before crashing back to cruel reality when the ride is over.
Work on the attraction will begin as soon as planning permission is granted and a spokesman for The Rangers Supporters Trust welcomed the move saying that a British theme park was just what the club needed, adding “Will there be a hamburger stall and stuff? And a beer tent?”
The last word came from Rangers manager Walter Smith who hoped to perform the official opening of the park. ”It’s a great idea and might just make people see that my side play good football and aren’t defensive in the slightest, except in Europe all the time and some games in Scotland” he growled.

Summa of Sammi,
I too believe Bobby Murdoch was the very best all round right half I have had the privilege of watching in a Celtic jersey. I would, however, not be as dismissive of Paddy Crerand as yourself. He was, imo, an even better passer of the ball than Bobby. He and Charlie Gallagher are, again imo, the 2 best I have witnessed in that department. Wee Bertie and Bobby were first picks and rightly because of their overall contribution to the team. The 2 best all round footballers I have seen playing for the Hoops are Bobby and George Connelly.
Hawkhill 2.15 Market Rasen
Morning CQN.
My nap is
Benefit Cut 3 55pm market Rasen.
I watched this horse on the gallops quite a few times as it was stabled in the same yard as my own . Has been going well, and goes well fresh. His main target is Kempton in October and this race today looks very competitive, and my confidence has dropped after seeing the field, but I’ll stick with it. Paddy Brennan is up so it’s got a decent pilot aboard. Market Rasen was watered yesterday as well and that’ll help.
Good luck today bhoys…..mon the hoops.
Today’s dunkey will mostly be……
