I thought it was not a bad performance,but we looked to tire in the last 15 mins.,.
We missed Ledley in the midfield,Commons is ok at home but struggles in away games.
Still all to play for,home games will determine where we end up.
And CowieBhoy, if you are going on Saturday, keep an eye on Miss Doc, first game on her own.

We need to practice crossing, final ball from the wide areas were really poor.
That’s what undone us IMO.
If we could have got better balls in we would have scored.
I thought we were very good tonight. Jammy deflection and a free kick for off the ball incident with no pictures I’ve seen that suggest it was a foul and given Ballotelli’s penchant for falling down, wouldn’t surprise me if Scott did nothing wrong. And if he did, the Ballotelli deserved it.
Some excellent football. Forster proving again he is a wonderful keeper.
I know they had some big players out, but we should be looking to turn them over at Celtic Park.

A great performance by our Bhoys, and dreadfully unlucky to be going home empty-handed. However, all things considered, we are already doing better than we should be… we are third in a group in which we are fourth seeds by a distance.

A mixture of bad luck, poor delivery (Matthews was fantastic but none of our players seem capable of crossing the ball – or is it that we don’t know how to attack a cross?), Brown being an idiot and possibly the wrong substitutions.

Encouraging effort from the bhoys,
Showed that Celtic belong and are comfortable at the top table.
These games determined by the smallest margins.
Shame stokes didn’t pull that free kick back a yard…
Tremendous performance for the most part from us. Some great passing and solid possession.
Thought the chance to score came with Brown… just seemed to hesitate before he shot.
Desperately unlucky with the first goal, which changed the whole game. How many times have we been sucker-punched like that?
Milan are murder, really poor. Second spot still very much up for grabs.
Barca will have this group sewn up before we meet them in Barcelona…

Our crossing and set pieces (Stokes’s shot that hit the bar apart) were abysmal.
Goes without saying that is yet another cruel European result.
Having said that, we were great for most of the game.
I think we ran out of puff.

Balotelli tries to elbow Broonie then crumbles in a heap. Ref was conned.
So we lost the spine of our team… worse team than last year .
Well I for one thought we played better tonight than any champions league game last season
We carried no luck.. milan did.
Broonie was daft to get involved with Balotelli and give away a free kick, however big FF pulls off a great save only to see a wall of red advancing towards him while our defence finish reading their news papers.
Anto is definitely not a lone striker but even a top ‘off the shoulder’ striker would struggle with the lack of decent passes.
David Tanner is an utter mammary.
Thought our performance was very good, some better balls into the box might even have made it great.
After they scored their first I still felt that we could get an equaliser in the remaining 10 minutes. Until Broonies moment of stupidity.
Ach well,
the wee teams NEVER get a break at this level.
We never looked like scoring but I couldn’t see us losing.
Still, chin up. We’re already in the EL position – 2 goals better off than Ajax.

Just saw replay, Ballotelli leaned into Brown and fell over. Brown absolved of any blame IMO.
In the CL, cuteness counts for a lot.
Once again, we are victims of cutery.

We did indeed run out of puff. Timely subs would maybe have helped. As I said earlier during the game, fitness may be an issue. It was.
Good away performance up until the 80th minute. Unlucky deflection for Milan’s 1st goal by Izzy. Defence caught napping at second goal. Unclear as to why free kick given against Brown who had otherwise excellent game but it did seem that he raised a high arm across Balotelli although footage was inconclusive.
I think Neil got the substitutions wrong to be honest. I don’t think Matthews should have been taken off nor Commons. I think Stokes should have gone before Commons for Pukki. As it turned out neither Derk nor Pukki added much to our effort whereas the guys who came off hadnz’t done much wrong. I also think that we created chances to win this game but didn’t ate them. Perhaps if we had invested more in a striker (Finnbogasson) inthe transfer indow we might have more to show for our efforts.
Milan were there fortune taking but it will be more difficult o best them st Cltic Zpsrk when they’ve got over their injuries.

We are looking a better outfit than last year. Remember last year after benfica away game being gutted by the lacklustre performance. Tonight we played well and I’m looking forward to the rest of the campaign

We can take a lot out of that. We look a better team than last season and perhaps only Hooper would have made a difference.
