Cheatin’ Beaton does not like his authority questioned by any player. He is really spiteful and takes glee from carding any player who disputes decisions with him. A quite horrible character.

When we had 3 poor LBs in our ten-losing season I was not convinced that GT was the best. I felt they all had different strengths and weaknesses.
Laxalt left and took his big wages with him. Bolingoli has shot his own bolt with his Spain trip so GT has had to keep Liam Scales (and Adam Montgomery) out of the team. This he has done and , with regular games, he has grown and been brilliant in these last two games.
Happy to see him prove to be better than I thought. I still want LB competition so we need to see Sacales occasionally or buy again this summer

Bit much to expect Hearts to get anything as 3 of their back 4 is out, Souttar is also signed with them, but you never know Neilson is always on about trying to catch the second team. Fantastic Celtic this is the best attacking Celtic team I have seen including the Rodgers invincible team, we are going places with this manager.
Frimpong scores own goal, but is Bayer team are 3-1 up at Dortmund at halftime. The Zombies’ next Europa League opponent not doing so well.

With the squad we have, we can now keep up the intensity rather than burning out by half-time.
Good game-management too – knocked the ball around nicely, took the sting out of the game and still looked a threat if we wanted to go through the gears.

Simples, ref simply ignored the rules on yellow cards and allowed them do whatever they liked

Maeda looks much better through the middle. Needs a few games I think.
First half I actually thought we were off firm a wee bit. Sloppy with the ball at times. However we were also clinical and very tight at the back too. Julien is going to have to be exceptionally good to get into that team.
O’Riley is just sensational. He is so creative it’s unreal.
