    Yes indeed – what a journey.

     

     

    It says much for everyone at the club that we are recovering so soon.

     

     

    When a club has been all-conquering for years, there inevitably always comes a time when fortunes dip, for whatever reason – it has happened to us before, to the Ibrox club(apart from their liquidation), and to the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal & Leeds etc, at one time, or, another. There usually follows a fallow period of some years until the club ‘rights itself’, and finds new(the right) leaders, new managment/coaching-staff & of course new players.

     

     

    If we can ‘bounce-back’ to dominance after only one blank season and, in the process qualify for the Champions League, it will rank upsides the many other achievements in our glorious history.

     

     

    As someone said earlier, we have not in the least missed Ajer, Edouard, or, Christie, however, the money from their moves has funded our new squad – that’s not by chance, that’s the infrastructure and business model working as it’s supposed to do.

     

     

    Whoever ‘found’ Ange, and it was most certainly not Dom, deserves much praise – with hindsight, it is obvious that Eddie Howe was the wrong target.

    Brendan’s outburst at his Leicester team yesterday, telling “a number of payers” to “have a good look in the mirror”, could/should have been the message delivered to our squad during last season, mind you, who knows if it would have made any difference. The fall off in Leicester’s form, appetite & application, is not dissimilar to what happened to the Celtic squad in 20/21.

     

     

    Of course Covid & some political input had an effect, but basically a number of players just ‘downed tools’. As Brendan is alludes to, when that happens, the rot has set in, and a clear-out is the only answer.

     

     

    We have had ours, I wish Brendan well in his.

    I am taking a ” GUESS” Here…IF that £350 MILLION WAS to be available for the NHS, it would AT LEAST PREVENT the forthcoming UNIONIST/TORY rise in National Insurance Contributions, that the UK Public and Employers are about to be hit with, as ( again I am Guessing)…THAT £350 MILLION per week to the NHS would SURELY COVER ALL the costs of RUNNING The NHS each week…IF NOT…I can only assume that it would be pretty close to doing so ?

     

    This Unionist/Tory Govt have STATED that the forthcoming rise in National Insurance is NEEDED to help run the NHS….Surely THAT further TAX RISE would NOT be needed IF The UK WAS £350 per week better off, as PROMISED/PLEDGED by those LYING TORY/BREXIT Bassa’s…during the PRO BREXIT campaign.

     

    again Dopey Bassa Boris and his sidekick Chumps have LIED to the UK Public and LIED in the Commons…..and we now KNOW that was only the START of things to come…and yet MILLIONS of Unionist/Tory/Brexit Chumps VOTED for The Dopey Bassa that is Boris !

    MAYBE Celtic will NOT be allowed to win the League this season due to The Corrupt REFS etc……but the CHEATIN Bassa’s are gonna have to overcome a FULLY Determined…and Ultra Skilful Celtic Squad and Big ANGE.

     

    While I fully appreciate the Fitba from the current Celtic team including GIO….I just can NOT WAIT to see Wee KYOGO back playing,and with Matt O’Riley providing the AMMO providing the AMMO.

    it seems like a lifetime ago when I was FIT enough to TRY and play golf. For many years Ive often how great it would have been to learn how to SKI…and also take part in BOB SLEIGHING, which is something that Ive fancied trying for years.

     

    its TOO LATE now of course as , my Old, Disabled Body couldnt take the ” Hits” any more, and how I sometimes wish that I had tried it when I was young and Fit.

     

    I wasnt too bad at Ice Skating though. Sadly, Im NOT fit enough to do that any more.

    How good is it watching our team at the moment , even the Dundee Utd game although not a goal fest showed us another side to the team , the we shall not drop points mentality could be so important. Now I cant wait for Wednesday , what a contrast compared to last season and its all down to Angeball , one more thing if your the opposition looking at us now you must be thinking Jaysus they still have Kyogo to come back , happy days.HH

    I also wish that I had tried ICE HOCKEY when I was younger and Fit.

     

    I was too busy trying to play Fitba, Watch Celtic, Drink, Disco Dance and lumber scores of Burds along the way.

     

     

    Its been a MAD MENTAL Life at times.

     

    Nowadays, I am just glad to wake up and feel well enough to stay OUT of any hospital.

     

    I have always enjoyed the company of many Pretty Wummin….But Im just grateful to be SINGLE and to go out and about when ever I feel able to do so, and DRINK Numerous Pints of Beer without some Wummin ” nipping ma Heid”…

     

    IF thats a SEXIST Comment…let it be so.
