    Chrome and Adblock work perfectly. However, I notice that some websites now detect Adblock and refuse to let you see the site until you disable Adblock and therefore allow the ads. If that happens to CQN it’s the end for me.

    It’s still not good enough, this isn’t WWWF (wrestling) this is supposed to be professional football and has to be ran profesionaly, if the officials are bent and corrupt, I want it investigated, and not by them investigating themselves, none of that sheet, we all know how that works,.

     

    All Celtic need to do is send in a letter of complaint, and make it public knowledge to here support, simple as that, we got there back, they should have ours, it’s not rocket science Feds.

    The answer, by banning him, was that none of the 6 officials saw the incident, otherwise, by their own, er, rules, they couldn’t ban him.

     

     

    But then he played, so someone did see something after all, but must have deemed it to have been non-deliberate.

     

     

    So there’s your answer, muddied water.

     

     

    And so we moved on, leading to lightning indeed striking twice for Muir yesterday.

    Biase, who knows ? It’s Scotland, so possible.

     

     

    In Muir’s case, I feel the guy is just a poor referee, but he has plenty of peers in that respect.

    It’s the lack of accountability. Who rewards or demotes; on what basis ? Fleming, must implement some strategy for improvement and not some pointless qualification.

     

     

    Surely, given the fees (£840 for an SPFL referee) and the financial ramifications (how much did McLean’s error in the Scottish cup cost Celtic and the SFA ?). An independent monitoring system would benefit everyone, including the good referees ?

    Frannyb67 from earlier I didn’t know his name only knew him as “ref” it was himself that told me one day that he mucked up big time in the 1989 final, not sure what the club can do about the refs if a person is going to cheat what can you do except keep highlighting the cheats try and embarrass them into not cheating

    If you are still about, I believe, though not sure, D&P are not paying their guys legal fees, they refused to do so. In a case of any Professional liability they wouldn’t have that option presumably.

    On the evidence of yesterday, that strategy is unlikely to work, given the coverage the ICT semi-final cheating got, and how the handball incident was highlighted.

     

     

    Yet same official involved, same cheating outcome.

    Tony d and others. If you are expecting Celtic to do something about the cheating then you are going to be very disappointed. We have seen this video many many times. Last season during the ice debacle Celtic asked for clarification from the SFA because the supporters demanded it. They blamed us for having to ask. Then they didn’t bother telling us what the SFA said.

     

     

    Celtic will do and say precisely nothing. We are willing victims in this. It’s part of the way to get money out of you. Play the racist card, make sure you are the hungry downtrodden victim.

     

     

    In short Tony you are watching a version of wrestling. Only in Scotland the pretence is officially that it’s not a fix but w all know it is.

     

     

    Just one more thing to say. The SFA, police Scotland and the SNP government are all part of this. They are incompetent and biased and its breeding a culture that it’s ok.

     

     

    How sad is that?

    I totally understand but think it’s really difficult to chase them on cheating when they have the human error get out, video evidence will only stop it, if a 5th official or however many there are watched Broonys pen yday surely he would have to give the penalty, on the downside I can’t see video evidence every being used during the game

    Celtic have been cheated for years. Not getting anywhere by the odd letter. Lennon had them on the ropes but we were fighting the battle ourselves. We need to be wiser,get other clubs involved. Start a ref watch highlighting every mistake in each game. Demand refs sit out for 2/3 weeks for constant bad refereeing. Hurt them in there pockets. They get paid very well.

    Lennon’s passion is absolutely correct.We have been cheated from day one and our token responses are pointless and aimed at trying to appease the fans with the hope we’ll then shut up.

     

     

    If we continue to allow ourselves to be isolated we’ll be held responsible for the mayhem that match officials will bring upon our game.We need back up.Will we get it? not sure but we will need it.

    BDO will sue D&P, the firm, not the individuals. In fact, it’s unlikely to get that far. Whether or not their PI insurance pays out in these circumstances, D&P will roll over at the first opportunity. The reputational damage of a judgement against them would be more costly to them than any damages paid.

     

     

    What’s fascinating in all of this is the continuous thread that runs through the Indictment. Clearly, we’re not at liberty to discuss it candidly given live proceedings, but the allegations centring on D&P’s role are quite startling.

     

     

    Whether the individuals are convicted of the charges on the Indictment or not, Lord Hodge will be seeing them in his court in due course. I expect a riot.
