I think it’s time to write a very strong worded letter to P67 again about the perception of pop ups clicking up all over the place on mobile or PC friendly versions of CQN. I’m sure he’ll listen if it’s worded strongly enough.

  2. by the way, the pop ups and ads are really getting on my t&ts now.

have the numbers been ramped up? really putting me off coming on here.

Maybe that’s the plan…anyway off to gym, nice and warm there.

Cannot believe how this once good site has been ruined by adverts/pop-ups.

    Shame.

    Couldn’t agree more

I’m having more difficulties with them than previously, that’s for sure.

    The Captain is Winning.

  6. I’m just back after being lucky enough to escape to Ibiza for a week. Internet access was only available when we were out for a drink or meal (and I do try to avoid checking my smartphone when out with Mrs B, other than a quick check). But any attempt to get onto CQN was a complete waste of time with numerous Spanish ads popping up.

It is definitely much worse its ruining the site

Re 9k at fir park. Celtic sold out their allocation.

  8. Top of the league mid October.

Remember after the defeat to Aberdeen at Pittordrie and the doom and gloom merchants having a field day on this site, Corkcelt posted that we should all get a grip as Celtic would be top of the league by the end of October. I suspect he thought that it would happen after we meet them at Celtic Park in a couple of weeksā€™ time, not even he would have predicted the great McInnes would lose 4 games in a row.

As regards yesterday, the only thing that keeps my blood pressure down is the knowledge that we wonā€™t have to play Sevco or whatever they will be calling themselves in the coming decades, for a long long time. If I thought they would still be around next year I would be fuming after the obvious cheating by Muir, for that would become the norm and the MSM would turn a blind eye as usual.

What I donā€™t get are the posters on this site who do say they will get promoted.

All the evidence produced by various sites points in the same direction. They will by Xmas have ran out of money. They have no credit facility, all the assets are tied up in other loans, and ownership of these assets is in dispute and will be for a number of years. Who is going to pump millions of pounds into them to keep them going till the end of the season? And then what? The Glib and shameless liar? Their brief history tells us there are no real rangers men out there when it comes to putting your money where your mouth is.

So why is it that some posters on here ignore this? What do they know that will keep them alive?

When it comes to injecting cash, the MIBā€™s and the Judges canā€™t help them.Their fans are in denial, they either refuse to read the evidence or canā€™t handle the truth. I get that.

So next time someone posts that we will be playing them next season, could you explain how they are going to finance the operation.

  9. MIB I hear you say…..from folgen folgen

    Default Re: Today’s ref

Our Ref is an ex-Rangers youth player, a goalkeeper who was capped by Scotland.

Would have been nice to hear the Dhims go mental if we had won it with the penalty.

And yes, the Ref in the Motherwell game upset them by missing two fairly clear penalties. Same ref as the cup semi they had against ICT LOL.

iPad is fine re ads…my iPad is a fairly old version …seems to avoid the ads

I think you are accurate re Huns …they’re in bother ..defo

Why that should make you less annoyed about Muir’s performance yesterday is beyond me

The cosy SPL with no real challenge to CFC won’t last forever ….the MIB problem is real …clear and present …it should be tackled head on instead of being ignored or excused because Sevco might be in financial bother

The increasing number and variety of adverts on the site has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the decreasing number and variety of posts.

    Nothing. Nothing at all.

Not read back yet, but just wanted to comment on the stewarding / policing yesterday – disgraceful!! HamiltonTim has been right all along re: the Act.

Some people have been giving him a hard time about his highlighting of its impact on a free society – they should have been at Fir Park yesterday. Reminiscent of the Policing of the miner’s strike.

Any news on the Celtic supporter who was getting CPR on the way out of the game – he looked in a very poor way?

Youre right, the MIB should be tackled head on.

I certainly wasnā€™t suggesting that it should be ignored or excused, if that the way it read , then I didnā€™t mean it to.

Muir ‘s performance yesterday was exactly what we have faced since our inception and won’t change.Remember we’re “paranoid.” What happened yesterday happens to every team and we just cannot take it when we lose. We didn’t lose yesterday so time to have a pop at them.

  19. We have had problems with the pop up ads on mobiles and have new mobile tags ready to implement next week. We requested these weeks ago but it takes a little time as we supplied specific requirements based on feedback on problems being experienced. One supplier of those ads has been given notice and will cease to be on the site last day of October. Can’t really say more than that but hopefully it will re-assure you that we are doing what is necessary to sort.

I posted last night about the fan who was getting CPR on the way out of the stadium.

I was also asking for any information.

Once he had assistance ,I had to walk away.

I have thought about him and his young female companion several times since.

The look of distress and and anguish on her face ,and the state the man was in ,is haunting me.

    It looked very serious indeed.

The other point was that at first they could not get assistance because the nearby stewards and police were too busy trying to apprehend the young lad who had run on the pitch at half time, and one other male who was trying to free him from the stewards.

The speed at which the emergency services were alerted was far too slow.

I fully expected to be reading about a fatality, but can find not news on the event today.

I posted a few days ago from Dubrovnik about one of the waiters in our hotel who told me that he loved Celtic but couldn’t stand the Huns or Hearts for that matter. I noticed later that several people responded to my post but I didn’t get a chance to respond to them so I would like to apologise for that and to thank them for for their posts.

As a matter of interest, the waiter who is called Ragus, spoke to the wife and I at breakfast yesterday morning. He rolled up his sleeve and showed us his beautiful, green tattoo of the Celtic crest! He supports Dinamo Zagreb and Celtic. He spent some time in Ireland and visited a bar in Belfast which was covered in Celtic memorabilia and I think that and our Irish Celtic fans inspired him to get the tattoo.

Well done ghuys! He was well impressed by the time he spent in Ireland.

I hope Dinamo beat Olympiakos on Tuesday night in the Champions League. I’ll be watching if the game’s on the telly. Forza Dinamo!

    Hail! Hail! Ragus!

Off out to Embra airport to collect daughter and grandson.

  22. Thought we played very well yesterday, we really seem to be able to play the 4 2 3 1 system with changes of personnel slotting straight in.

Was down the town yesterday morning, fancied a beer and some scram, so, thought I’d pop in and see if a could catch the gemme in a pub.

    Well the put it on…

    Anyways…

This Ayrshire Tim I know walks in, told him I had the match, he was there with his work colleague and pal, who supports the Rangers verieties…

    Anyways…

Only met the chap once before and was a wee bit exubrent over their demise and our domination.

So, they joined me at the table…

The chap put out his hand and said I’m ——–, I thought, good he’s forgotten.

    I said we’ve met before.

    He says… Aye a’kno

    Oops

Decided to be in my best behaviour, anyway we were joined by a few others, a RGT, who just recently lost his wife, so it was good to see him in good form.

    Anyways…

To the point, the hand ball, the only one at the table that seemed shocked by the decision was the Ayrshire Ger.

As we shook our head and laughed he said “How did the linesmen no’ see that”

Turned to him, thinking he was taking the mick… No straight up, he looked genuinely appauled at the decision…

    They just don’t get it…

… Fancy a shock in the rugby today hopefully not Ireland.

A Celtic semi final would be a grand ending to a great weekend.

  24. The 2 clear missed penalties , plus other blunders by yesterdays officials .At least 2clear wrong off-sides called but thankfully Celtc still prevailed.

So now is the right time to put in a strong protest!

Put the officials in the spot-light and make it harder for them to give these deliberate wrong calls .

In the Broonie incident the mib started to point towards the spot then realised what he was doing and stopped stooped himself.

Ronnie needs to wise up and realise what we are up against.

Mowbry had a take it on the chin attitude and it did him no good at all.
