  1. Mr Muir will be seen at many games unless we up the public media on it, he has done what he was told, and not just the two penalties, there where some meaty tackles flying in there, I know, it’s part of the game I get that, but that tackle from that wee bassa skippy was a red in my opinion.

The brotherhood are at full steam right now, and it’s becoming a case of ” So! And what are you’s gonny do about it”

Well someone has to call a halt to this, this “it evens it self out over the season” aye we know it does after we have lost the league , this cheat ( and that’s all he is) done us out of a chance to play in a cup final and win a treble, now how the f… Do you even that out?

When your being cheated, and the whole world is watching and sees it too, the the club have to make a note of complaint ASAP, more so now as we won the game and it won’t show up as sewr grapes, and none of this move on crap either, I will be very upset with Celtic if there is no letter of complaint sent in to the SFA, they are the watchmen of our club, we are upset and shocked of that referees performance yesterday, I’m sure they have the words from cleverer men than me to state our case, but stated it must be, and not done after Tuesday, as I think I remember that’s the dead line for complaints, how do I know this? Because Neil Lennon had many sent in regarding him, and not because he was accused of cheating, it was just because he was a Tim fro Lurgan.

    Lurking Huns GIRFUYs

  2. If the Club can’t take a stand on being blatantly cheated out of League Titles, cups and CL football, I don’t see it happening on being cheated out of blatant penalties.

The cheating and incompetence of the MIBs go hand in hand. They are incompetent, because their bias against us stops them doing the job properly, and from this the cheating naturally follows.

The assistant referee on the Main Stand side was looking straight at the deliberately outstretched arm which denied Ciftci a clear goal scoring opportunity.

And he just kept looking, maybe wondering why he had that wee flag in his hand.

Officials had obviously discussed the importance of teamwork pre-match.

  3. The Battered Bunnet on

Another post, another crash, oh bother.

The post basically picked up on Qunno’s and Tiny Tim’s thread on Zombie FC. I’ve rehashed it quickly below.

They have a cash crisis in a loss making business model and a full deck of contingent liabilities that together add up to an extraordinary cliff hanger: No one can see a means of escape, and we’ll need to tune in next week to see if/how they figure it out.

The biggest issue is the set of contingent liabilities, and until these are resolved, the business cannot be funded in normal course.

James Doleman’s summary of the court proceedings on Friday offers no comfort in this respect: The charges before the court strike at the heart of legitimacy. The myriad contingent commercial liabilities that the Indictment implies serve to place an already hamstrung business in a basket. It is a basket case in every respect.

To say nothing of the legitimacy (if ever there was any) of the 5 Way Agreement, upon which Sevco’s SFA membership is predicated. This is referenced in the Indictment summarised by James Doleman: “Green is also charged with misleading investors and others about Whyteā€™s role in the transaction”

You can read James’ summary here. It is the only public domain record of the proceedings: https://rangersfraudcase.wordpress.com/2015/10/16/the-indictment/

There isn’t an orthodox solution to their crisis, and so if they are to avoid a terminal fate, the solution needs to be unorthodox. I cannot envisage such a solution, so forgive my poor imagination, but I’m sure all manner of scenarios are being thought up.

On balance, I think Private Frazer is on the money with this one.

    Correct again,mate.

Red for McDonald all day every day-except under certain circumstances, like yesterday.

As I said earlier, referees are supposed to be colour-blind,and referee impartially. What we have seen, particularly since the return of the cardigan to remind them of their duty,is disgraceful.

Again as said previously,we should compile a record of these decisions and post them anonymously on YouTube.

This article is spot on in that we can go on until we are green in the face about a referees motivations but we can prove nothing. Total waste of energy.

However competency is observable and so capable of being measured and so forms a legal basis for depriving a referee of his earnings.

Until the concept of measuring the services the SFA provide to football becomes the norm then we will continue to shovel green steam.

We need to change the debate or its MIBs forever because that unprovable argument suits them.

  6. WGS on the Broony penalty “That’s as blatant as it gets”

Until 10 minutes later, that statement was true.

  7. Good draw for Ireland……having return leg in Dublin v Bosnia a big plus. It was important to avoid Ukraine I think. COYBIG

Disappointed with doom & gloom nature of CQN match report on yesterday’s game. I thought our movement and crisp passing was excellent in the first half/start of second and should have been recognised.

The problem for me was the way we fell out of the game in the 2nd half, from around 65 mins. This also happened against Kilmarnock, and we’ve had various other examples of losing leads….Malmo/Aberdeen/Fenerbache……don’t think the tactics/formation are the problem, but we have issues with seeing games out, both physically and psychologically.

I posted Doleman’s summary yesterday and my initial reaction was BDO are going to have to start all over again.

It reminds me of the TV Series LOST that I stopped following in series two because the writers had lost the plot.

Perhaps they found employment writing the Sevco Saga with same result.

The only solution I can see (and it was made on RTC years ago by myself and others , possibly including yourself) is to form a new club away from Ibrox with a sustainable cost base.

Hail Hail once again to you my friend in Celtic…….If it has to be competency we go after them on then so be it. The Ayrshire MIB mafia need to be taken on. The evidence is there and is undeniable. We have to get off our bahookies and nail them otherwise it will be 2010 all over again

I would like to assert that the increasing number and variety of clandestine mibbery in the SPL has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the decreasing number of denizen Huns. Nothing. Nothing at all. Until next year!

  11. For anyone getting upset re yesterday’s refereeing decisions around penalties not given…..

Can I just remind you that Celtic got a shy during the 1989 cup final that should have gone the other way.

So you see, it’s not all one way traffic. Things do even out.

  12. Regarding yesterday’s AM debacle.

Unfortunately par for the course now.

All they have left now is the cheap shot, the wind up, the “honest mistake”, the Pi*s Take.

AM now has the Yellow Jersey in the Annual MIB Ludge CFC Wind Up competition.

After last year the only question is can he make it Two in a Row?

Much more open competition over at the SMSM Ludge where the raise is finely balanced between two schools of thought — the TFOD2 big up vs the CFC “any old tripe as long as it is negative”.

My thoughts are that after yesterday’s “the Pis@est 10” nonsense the Big Up faction are winning.

Stringer Bell the linesman that day in 1989 was a big gers fan, he reffed our Saturday morning games once he had finished at senior level, didn’t have much time for our team not sure if it had anything to do with our green & white strips and shamrock badge

  16. Barry Cook…..another alleged former deidco youth player on the rise and another penalty given to satan’s eleven. They are getting close to averaging a penalty per game.

I disagree with the suggestion that BDO will move to have the Asset Purchase Agreement reduced.

Doing so would serve to crystallise the ‘duped’ of the fraud – those who invested in RIFC in good faith, and who would lose everything in such a scenario. Justice is practical as well as arbitrary.

It is considerably more convenient, should BDO be able to demonstrate that the assets were undersold, pursue the vehicle of the fraud – TRFC Ltd – for compensation. BDO are after all representing the interests of the creditors, whose sole interest is financial, and TRFC – it is alleged – underpaid them.

Double up that with a claim against BDO, and the creditors will be very well served.

The issue here is simply whether TRFC Ltd will survive long enough to be pursued for compensation. I don’t think it will because it will take too long to get to that point, and there is no orthodox means of funding the business in the interim.

TRFC and RIFC are facing death by contingent liability, and if this occurs, then perhaps BDO would indeed seek to repatriate the assets, but again, it’s more convenient simply to make their claim in Administration in a financial sum.

In the wider view, in the unseemly rush to have a ‘Rangers’ playing in Scottish Football at any cost, no one stopped to consider what the cost might actually be. We’ll find out much of that in due course.

But whatever the cost, it is the supporters who will pay it. Green was waived through like the Pied Piper, and the support was screwed in the process. That they were witting in being screwed is a matter for their own reflection. What they do after that is anyone’s guess, but what the past 15 years have taught us is this: No business model yet exists that supports a ‘successful Rangers’ within the environment of Scottish Football. The understanding of ‘successful’ requires to be redefined in order to create a sustainable model.

Until that central fact is recognised and thereafter acknowledged, they’re doomed to repeatedly build their dreams on a false premise. Definition of madness, and all that.

  19. Thoughts on Tom Rogic. Has performed and contributed well so far this season. Form has however dipped in the last few games. Long distance travelling to play for Australia will not have helped. So, now a good time to give him a rest, take him out for a few games for his own good before his confidence hits rock bottom ala McGregor.

    Tims are Bosons

To experience the full force of quantum hunnodynamics one must exchange a handshake or 2.

  22. The cheating against us is thrown into even sharper relief when you see the penalties awarded against us at Rugby Park and Pittodrie recently, and the speedy, unhesitating manner in which the whistle was blown to give them.

  23. Re policing

The footage from Fir Park yesterday was shocking and it appears to have stemmed from an over zealous steward pursuing the boy who wanted a selfie with Griff. There is clear footage of a Sergeant with his CS gas deployed pointing it at Celtic fans who seemed to be threatening him by filming him. Something ironic in that.

Are our club doing anything to address this? BGFC described yesterday as reminiscent to the miners strike; this is a game of football. Common sense policing appears to have gone right out of the window as football fans appear to be public enemy number 1.

BT Sport gave the crowd as 8,888 yesterday, over 5,000 of which were Celtic supporters. If the clubs do not act in concert-as the fans did yesterday in protest- and tackle this then it is time to say enough is enough at these away venues. Ā£28-Ā£35 to get filmed, treated like dirt and possibly charged and criminalised. Many will say if you are not doing anything wrong you have nothing to worry about but the number of arrests and conviction rates don’t bear that out. The young bhoy yesterday shouldn’t have entered the field of play but his pursuit after the game by a steward, plain clothes and uniformed officers was ridiculous-as was the use of handcuffs.

  25. I remember the last time we went after this mob they went on strike, and where not missed, I doubt very much they will go down that road again, but in saying that they have to be taken to task, I’m paying good money to watch this, and if there is cheating going on, then prove to me there isn’t , as a man once said we don’t want to be treated any different from any other team all we want is a level playing field.

We can not ignore this, serious questions need answered here and none of this bowling club gymnastics, we want answers now,.

Celtic get that notice of complaint on its way, and demand answers, .

While I’m at it did we ever get an answer from the semi final against ICT WHEN WE SENT THAT COMPLAINT IN? And if not why? I feel very strong about this, and Celtic must take our case up before someone get hit with a cigarette lighter, and then the spin will be on us, because as sure as sheet sticks to a goats arse, that’s what’s going to happen.

  28. Morning all

Just watching the game again from yesterday. At the game I thought both penalty claims looked good – the first one was so obvious that I genuinely assumed I had missed something and that Broony somehow must have dived. With the second my angle of view made me think that it actually might have hit Nadir C’s hand – where I was sat the Celt looked closer to Kennedy than he really was. Watching again these look to be what my gut instinct was. I can accept that both incidents were at speed but it is not acceptable that Muir missed both. That no card was given to Pearson after a dreadful challenge on Efe A was in my opiniom an equally bad non decision.

I thought we played ok in patches with the two centre backs and Broony being our best. Izzy defended competently for the most part but was poor going forward. Not often that has happened!

I enjoyed the streamer display – caught the stewards and police on the wrong foot. Well it made me laugh though no doubt the usual suspects on here will have been baffled/appalled by it. Sat in row T of the lower stand I had the GB right of me. Aside from their flags occasionally obscuring my view I thought they were great even if they made me and my mate feel old.

Glad we are on top – I did not see the Dons’ collapse coming- and would be surprised if we are ever headed.

Have a good day and good luck to Scotland and Ireland at the rugby.
