I watched Scotland play a more accomplished Wales last night. No one in blue played particularly well but when Charlie Mulgrew prepared to take a corner from the right in first half stoppage time we knew Wales were in danger.
The pace, low trajectory and movement Charlie gets on the ball negates the natural advantage the defending team has. The goal had little to do with the young lad who got on the end of the cross, just as Celtic’s remarkable success from corners has little to do with their ability to attack the ball.

A group of Gers fans I went to college with (4 of them) all wore the Hoops for a charity match we played in and one of the lads from Trinidad quite happily wears green whenever the mood takes him.
Three of my closest mates are of the South side persuasion and we all played in green and yellow for years.
Not all numpties.

Yes, and if Southampton stay up, and their 4 points clear of relegation, they will easily offer him more than we can pay. Even if they are relegated, Artur, having established himself as first choice there might attract a bid from another EPL or promoted team, willing to pay more from their inflated TV deal money if they believe Artur has sorted out his issues.
I’d love him back too but established or desired EPL level players are currently beyond us.
