Leigh Griffiths problems are significant enough for him to be sent home from the club’s training camp.  While no charges have been made and none may be made, online speculation can jeopardise a successful prosecution.

Whatever you heard happened, this is not the place to repeat hearsay.  Notwithstanding that, it is likely the end of the road for Leigh.

    Not surprised this morning about Kennedy and Strachan as it was obvious they were always being kept on.

     

     

    Since January, we sold – Frimpong, El Hamed, Klimala, Hendry & Bayo.

     

     

    That’s roughly something in the region of 16-18 million in transfer income with Shved probably joining them to add to the total income.

     

     

    We need to strengthen, we need to spend. The money is there and it’s a buyers market.

    VIB offski for £1.4mill — bit of a cult figure in certain parts of Kiltoon / shadow of Kiltoon.

     

     

    Limited grafter who gave it his all and was surprisingly effective.

     

    The campaign to make all his goals OGs was the SPL at its finest.

     

     

    If we buy a new CB — then book him for littering.

     

    If we buy a new CF — then run down his efforts at every turn.

     

     

    The Hertz defence will be glad to see him go — that is good enough for me.

     

    Hope he does well at his new club — we were a zoo when he turned up and he deserved better.

    we needed a root and branch clear out after last seasons shambles

     

     

    10 days before our first major game we have virtually the same board, coaching staff and playing squad in place

     

     

    why should i expect things to be much different to last season purely because of a new manater?

    You have to think Kennedy as a former centre half,would be the defensive coach……….last season, every corner felt like a penalty, him and Strachan should have been emptied with Lennon.

    I’m not a fan of JK as a head coach but he’s not the head coach maybe his limit is just being a good coach, who knows ? The buck stops with Ange I suspect he’s the type that likes having all the decisions to make.

     

     

    Some signings would at least make it interesting, even if it where to only signify how we intend to play

    The failure to bring in even one new coach alongside Ange has immediately ramped the pressure up. Like Griff, it’s an obvious error.

     

     

    I hope Ange knows how to organise a set play defence because his two righthand men do not.

     

     

    If we’re beaten at Celtic Park by a midtjylland side that has scored a goal or two from a corner or free kick delivery into our box, Ange will get an immediate eye opener.

    The thing I don’t understand about the Denmark VAR penalty decision was the ex referees saying because it wasn’t clear and obvious, VAR let the decision stand.

     

     

    This is the same VAR that draw lines and give offside calls on the basis of millimetres in some cases. Clear and obvious ?

    John Kennedy was somewhat of a success as Youth/Development coach during Neil Lennon’s first tenure as Celtic manager. I say somewhat, in that his teams won their respective leagues and cups 2011-2014, a period which produced Kieran Tierney, and helped develop Anthony Ralston. Since then he has been part of the first team fixture and fittings under Ronny, Brendan and Lenny second time round, in charge for a disastrous cameo, and now yet again assistant to new man Ange. If I give credence to some on here, this has brought new life to that old joke, ……how many electricians do you need to change a lightbulb at Lennoxtown, none, since John Kennedy is still there. Talks a good game though. Gavin Strachan has quite a good coaching background, but having said that, Darren Ferguson did pretty well without him at Peterborough last season, has a bit of enthusiasm about him, and in my opinion could bring something to the club in the season ahead. Pleased he is being kept on.

    In my opinion, it’s pretty far fetched to think Ange was ever going to be able to bring in his own backroom team.

     

    Is it realistic ti think he told his prospective team “give me a few weeks to have a look at the guys Celtic have at the moment. Be prepared to move halfway round the world if they’re crap.”

     

    I reckon the structure was discussed and agreed at the interview stage.

     

    Disappointing.

     

    We needed wholesale changes after the massive regression of last year.

     

    We have made the fewest changes possible- one.

     

    Many will disagree and be happy with our preparations thus far.

     

    Many were equally confident at the start of last season.

    Because penalties are based on an opinion and offsides on facts (i.e. if a goal scoring part of the body is offside)

    With regards AP keeping hold of John and gavin ,I would more or less say he has been told that’s what’s happening . Same with the rebuild .hes been told that’s not happening either , he needs to wait till the golf s finished . The chap who calls the shots has more important things to do .

    I don’t know his qualities and unless you know the guy neither do you …. The trait or quality of kneejerkism is often overrated and can lead to well intentioned folk projecting qualities on other people they don’t know and are not qualified to assess.

     

     

    I’m off back to the real world JK has been with us a long time rated by BR so I’m not buying your opinion he’s crap … bad stuff can happen in sport , get over it
