Leigh Griffiths problems are significant enough for him to be sent home from the club’s training camp.  While no charges have been made and none may be made, online speculation can jeopardise a successful prosecution.

Whatever you heard happened, this is not the place to repeat hearsay.  Notwithstanding that, it is likely the end of the road for Leigh.

    John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan are set to remain at Celtic as key members of Ange Postecoglou ’s backroom staff.

     

     

    The assistant boss and first team coach have been working closely with the Aussie as he steps up pre-season preparations at their Newport base.

    We stayed opposite Kilbowie for years…………….

     

     

    Kilbowie Kelt, late of this parish, was our neighbour.

     

     

    I watched a grumpy, narky Davie Cooper train round the back of the park, next to the train tracks. I had one of my first ever pints in the old Bankies Club, before moving on to The Atlantis Bar.

     

     

    I remember one frosty evening when Celtic came to town………..

    Spent a bit of time today digesting the posts and thoughts of the supporters , Many of us concerned about the state our club are in . Last season was a disaster but we had hopes things would be better this season , we were told that a rebuild was in the plans , we had a new man in charge ,things would change. But here we are with European football just over a week away and a team no way settled to take on the teams we may face to attain reaching the group stages . many of the posters comments register disappointment and wonder what is going on , most of us renewed our tickets on the love we have for our club, we also hoped for a show that new quality would be brought in . It Hasnt happened , meanwhile our absent landlord is taking it easy at the golf without a care for one of the best football institutions in Britain or the 60000 fans who scrimp and safe to follow our club . I wish to God we could get an owner who hurts like the fans when there are i,lls in our football club

    Babkiebhoy1 the big mhan had a close relationship with the Steedmans, held a friendly on a Monday night at Kilbowie tae give the wee mhan a run out before the ujpest dosa game.

     

     

    The Atlantis no a Hun pub, big favourite with the Clydebank Tech students, Cleddans was too close.

    Friday night is traditionally DJ space on CQN. Couldn’t help but notice Tonyrome has been posting multiple songs on the same post which is a bit naughty but we’ll no doubt revert to Rome later. Scullybhoy has followed Tonyrome’s lead but given the content more power to his finger.

     

    Now I wont tell a lie, I’ve sneaked a few practice sessions before tonight’s piece de resistance but that much should not in any way put off contributions.

    My heart breaks at the success you have witnessed over the years whilst our absentee landlord has been playing golf. The new season hasnt started yet but you’re already doon in the dumps. Celtic have been built to last, the Sevco pretenders are but a momentary lapse in a season. Keep the faith.
