Don’t know how much the pitch had to do with it but a lot of our passes seemed to be over or under hit.

Brown’s goal should have stood. He drew his arm hard against his body. These things have evened themselves out in 45 minutes never mind a season.

I think there is a wee loss of confidence with Sinclair, however, it’ll all come good again, the sooner the better…big Moussa’s presence is missed as is young Paddy’s…get back up here pronto son. I don’t want to be too critical of Bitton, I like him and he has been good for us, however, a centre back must be good in the tackle, good in the air and must be alert and concentrated at all times…and I’m specifically refering to Europe. Too many memories of Caldwell, Efe gifting goals that cost us dearly. We have been mighty unlucky with injuries and we can’t just go out and buy players to replace the injured, so, we have to trust Brendan…Anyway, blah, blah, blah, roll on Wednesday…
Dallas was ok tonight, did us a favour at the end. His da would surely have given the penalty…maybe junior secretly hates his old man and is getting back at him this way…(nah! Yer dreaming there…ed)…and a wee bit of credit for Thistle and their manager, he has done well for them and he is a decent guy with a bit of dignity…could never be a hun…

Definitely ….. I meant I would rest him if possible but Brendan knows what he’s doing
I’m afraid Sinclair could be played too often as like you I think BR favours him so often
I wouldn’t have played him today , but he did and we needed him
the result was too close

Started great, faded, lost cohesion.
Big Nir the Centre-Back; nope. Play young Ajer in there ahead of him no worries.
Armstrong – great hair but blew the game wide open when he came on with his dreadful distribution.
Olivier – yes. That bhoy will be somethign special; gave Broon the night off as he ran the show.
KT- marauding hero.
JF – hopelessly out of position.
Sinky – someone needs to USE his pace; too often the ball’s played behind him or he’s checking back rather than taking on. Start him deeper, let him pick up and run at them.
The support – rebs are fine by me with gusto on a wave of passion, but incessant rebs just to annoy The Man reek of some needing to get back to school next week; and makes for a pish TV atmosphere as BT constantly turned the crowd noise down.
All-in, forgettable encounter at half-pace but 3 points is fine with all attention focussed on humping Astana.
CL Celtic is a different animal entirely. Expect high-tempo agression and 100% committment in our season-defining games coming up.
Pleased enough to come away with 3 points and no injuries.
Yes, it was sub-par on recent performances but our recent par has been pretty high.
The main game is on Wednesday. Unlike the Rosenborg tie, I would not be confident if we draw the first leg. I would like a 2 goal lead to take to Astana. I expect to see
Gordon
Lustig Bitton Simunovic Tierney
Brown N’tcham
Forrest McGregor or Rogic. Sinclair
Griffiths
With Hayes and Armstrong to come on with either Rogic or McGregor as our 3 subs.
I would be willing to bet I won’t be far out with that prediction.

Well done Celtic, not great but absolutely delighted with the result.
The overcrowding and crushing outside the stadium was a disgrace. Unbelievably, they set a turnstile at an angle to allow Celtic supporters in without having to put their tickets in the scanner!!!
An utterly, incredible irresponsible decision by someone in authority.
The wean was supposed to be there tonight but circumstances dictated otherwise. I’d have been really, really worried for her safety tonight.

Me and Wee BGFC not long in.
Hard game – well played the Jaggy Thistle and thought it was a penalty at the end. Delighted with the win and the additional sharpness we’ll get from the 90 minutes.
Brownie and KT interview great at the end – wee KT future captain so says Broonie :-)
N’Cham looked composed, but would like him higher up the park – getting better by the week.
Armstrong was under-par again – head is elsewhere and looks as if he is for the oft – although I’d love him to stay.
The constant IRA song book was a pain in the arse – too much – felt like someone was making a point. Wee BGFC much prefers Celtic songs.
Hmm. I thought we won tonight when I watched the game.
Good to see big. Nir has replaced Efe and wee jams as the escaped goat.
Also interesting to note that Brendan is now a duff manager.

Unlikely we will see as poor a performance all season. We were all over the place tonight. Big Jozo and KT held us together. Our forward players were a shambles. As BR says we need to improve. Hh

Gerry at 11.06, you have your hands full with wee yin, keeping you on your toes.
Last Wednesday’s game was very good. I like Calvin Miler ‘s attitude . Not a natural left back but sticks to his task and not afraid to make a tackle.
We did our job tonight without excelling but it is understandable with the two play off games looming.
If Stuart has not made a decision by the end of next week, I feel Brendan will make it for him.
Good night all and sleep well

May I add, I’m still in a state of shock and needing a couple of beers to get my head round young Damien NOT giving them that penalty.
Perhaps he’s on a mission to atone for the sins and shame of his sleekit father. Or he’s just as glaekit.

Don’t think we needed him today. He’s a fantastic talent but disappoints at times. Maybe it’s just the expectations are too high.
What I do like about him though is that he never hides and he’s got his feet on the ground.
He will rediscover his form and some poor team will suffer.
Still needs a wee break tho….
