Partnering Kelvin Wilson

704

After a couple of days away from the computer I caught up with the Ben Nevis Huddle photographs, magnificent achievement to everyone involved.  Our 1254125 project is in good hands.  I’d no idea there would be snow at the top of the mountain in June.

Have you bought your ticket for the Lions Roar event at the Kerrydale Suite on Friday evening.  It will be a great opportunity to watch the Lisbon game in the company of the Lions and enjoy a Question and Answer session afterwards.  There will also be a chance to get your picture taken, so get along.

Accurate news broke today that Celtic are in the market for a central defender.  We are not short of cover in this area of the team but no one has made an irrefutable claim for a place to partner Kelvin Wilson.

As we have often said, successful defending can only be done by a unit, not an individual, but unsuccessful defending by be achieved by anyone.  As ever, let’s hope Neil gets his first choice.

If you are still to renew your season ticket sign up for 1254125 at the same time – it’s every bit as important a part of being a Celtic fan as watching football.  If you’ve already renewed, get back and register.

I just agreed above and we are playing a very dodgy game.

Stokes doesn’t want to go but isn’t getting what he wants (yet) and is available from 30th June on a free. Hooper though contracted may want to go and therefore we could end up in a situation where we lose Stokes and Hooper asks for a transfer, leaving us with Balde, Watt and Samaras for Champions League qualifiers.

    Can Sammy do it again?

In defence of Charlotte, I think it would be an awful lot to ask anyone to pick out the threads in the thousands of documents and publish them in a logical, linear way. I think it’s much fairer for Charlotte to publish and for crowdsourcing to contribute to the analysis of the material.

Last night, Auldheid made a good point about there being a lack of reaction to it all now because none of us is surprised at the revelations.

Take this morning. Charlotte has published what is allegedly an email from Mike McGill to Craig Whyte referencing a bill to MIH that Craig Whyte still needs to settle (in December 2011) and a recent lunch in Monaco at which Craig Whyte graciously treated a certain knight of the realm.

Another well written piece , both you an Auldheid are correct to pursue these points . At times I feel that we are sleepwalking into a Masonic ambush/ cover-up , if we don’t unite to force investigation into the biggest scandal to involve Sport in this country then we will have failed future Celtic supporters.

I have come round to thinking the opposite. So much information is coming out that it will, eventually, bring the whole house of cards down. Don’t know what, don’t know when and I share the frustration of all those who are tiring of it and would like the denouement to happen immediately.

If the Masonic cover-up were kicking in, something would happen to head Charlotte off at the pass. They are the ones who are sleep-walking. They think that because the MSM poodles are happy just to keep giving them a paw for the odd wee scrap of Winalot that the world will ignore the revelations for ever. Considering nothing seems to be outside the scope of the Charlotte documents, that must be a very dangerous game to try to play.

For example, what would happen if, hypothetically, overt and egregious law-breaking were to come to light? Something that simply cannot be ignored?

  11. Here’s a thought for the day….

If, according to the SFA/SPL/SPFL, it is now possible to buy history and past trophies, should we wait for Hearts to be liquidated and buy their four 1st Division titles together with their Scottish Cups and League Cups as well. That would give us 48 league titles!

The scary thing about this is that I’m not sure if I’m being flippant or not!

The evidence shows that the licence (2011/12) was obtained fraudulantly.

The evidence shows that the licence (2012/13) was obtained….fraudulently.

The evidence shows that the SFA were complicit in both fraudulent licence processes.

You, Auldheid, me and every other bampot cannot pose those questions to the SFA because we have no mandate or authority to do so. Who can?

The SMSM could pose the questions and campaign for justice. Doesn’t look likely does it?

MEMBERS of the SFA could pose questions, seek answers, make complaints, raise issues, seek truth and action. OUR MEMBER is CFC (or CFC PLC). WE are impotent and need the club’s potency via MEMBERSHIP of the SFA to act.

To date the club would appear (I stress appear because they may be taking action which is unpublished (debate that if you like)) to be acquiescent in ALL of what has taken place. This suggests that CFC has no plans to use its power of MEMBERSHIP to take this forward either.

I suspect that is why fans like Canamalar and myself amongst many others are angry, disillusioned and frustrated.

I would love for you to be correct and for justice to be eventually obtained BUT unfortunately being a suspicious , paranoid Celtic supporter I won’t hold my breath.

If rules had been applied correctly then Scottish football wouldn’t find itself in this position where no one trusts those who supposedly run our game without fear or favour.

It will be interesting to see how the Hearts situation develops , this could be where their favourable treatment of the deid team is exposed .

Whilst we are Celtic supporters and our clubs actions on lack of actions concern us I find myself wondering too why not one man from any other club is asking any questions, no one at Utd, no one at Aberdeen, Hibs, Motherwell etc etc.

I asked two mates of mine who are Motherwell fans what they thought of the situation at the SFA and their answers were interesting :

    a. What situation at the SFA?

    b. You Tims are obsessed with killing off the huns.

    c. Campbell Ogilvie is at the SFA?? (my personal favourite)

    d. The SFA have always favoured the big two.

The longer this goes on unchallenged it seems to me the less interest fans outside of ourselves will have, so that leaves me slowly asking myself where are Celtic in all of this.

Please God let there be an endgame!

It is obscene but I suspect if Michael Jordan were playing right now, his annual wage would be not far off $75M/year. His basic contract when he retired from The Bulls was $30M/year, with endorsements it went up to $80-100M and that was a fair few years ago.

I would dearly love a grouping of clubs to be ‘interested’. However, I have no relationship with Motherwell, Hibs, Aberdeen or Utd.

I have a relationship as supporter, season ticket holder and shareholder with CFC.

As such I cannot ‘expect’ anything from those other teams. I can though I think expect something from my Club?

As far as I can see we are still sitting at the back of this bus as it is being ably driven by RC Ogilvie with all the Masonic cabal at the front with a very specific destination in mind.

Time for someone at the back to go down to the convener and suggest ‘We’re on the Wrong Road’?

I think that Hooper feels he will generate interest amongst the big clubs if he does well for ANY team in the EPL.

So signing for a diddy team is the way forward for him.

After all, rattling them in for us these last three years has barely generated a ripple of interest apart from, well, diddy teams.

IMO that is one helluva gamble, and I think it is the wrong choice for him.

  29. Morning all-

The following statement from our majority share holder suggests to me there is little or NO appetite from our custodians to fight for what Celtic lost during the cheating years of deadco.

“Rangers is a fantastic club with a great history,” he said. “With the support that they have, they will come back.

“They will, in not too long a time, be back in the SPL. I have no doubt about that.

“They’re needed for Scottish football because of their following and the size of the club and especially their history.”

Dermot Desmond, owner of Celtic, speaking in October 2012.

Whilst I admire the outstanding work the likes of Auldhied has done ( it has been a real education to me), I don’t believe that anyone in a position to ask harsh questions at Celtic has any desire or inclination to do so. My own feeling are the custodians of our club would welcome deadco back in a heart beat.

As Jessie J would say………….it’s all about the money.

    Hail Hail

  30. Last week in a gloating statement on their website they claimed that “the panel at the London Stock Exchange” endorsed their claim that they are the same club. This “fact” was also included in their submission to the ASA, who accepted it in good faith.

Last week we contacted the London Stock Exchange to confirm that they had given them such an endorsement and in a humiliating development for Rangers International – the Stock Exchange has this morning confirmed to CQN that the claim has had to be removed from their website.

The senior official in charge of the Review at the ASA has been made aware of the withdrawal of this claim – forced on Newco by the London Stock Exchange.

The revised article – with the deletion of the claimed endorsement from the panel at the London Stock Exchange – is available here:

    http://www.rangers.co.uk/news/headlines/item/4100-scotlands-most-successful-club

So in conclusion it seems to be clear that “the panel at the London Stock Exchange” are NOT happy to endorse them as being the same club. One wonders what the ASA will make of their misleading submission in this matter?
