    No need for any witch hunts on here about posters who perhaps let their emotions get the better of them.

     

    I certainly hope there isn’t anyway.

     

    We can all be happy little tims tonight….and be proud of our team because they did us proud.

    Was back in the old days and the poster was in Celtic Park at a derby and they had just scored. His mate turns to him and says – ‘I’m sick of this!’ and the poster said to his mate (Pointing to the away fans)

    How have they improved from last season when they had one player in their starting 11 who wasnt there last season, a kid who looked out of his depth, and two subs who came on and looked awful?

    Loved it….Edouard is a God..we have to enjoy him while it lasts..boli Julien hsmed great ..they can only get better..Bauer looked good…great throw ins…work rate brilliant….

     

    Finally until his injury nir was fantastic…time to give him a run …he is so calm at the back…

     

    Finally finally Neil the legend .one bad selection does not a bad manager make..

     

    I gave him a hard time after Cluj but he has responded brilliantly…

     

    Only disappointment watching the game in cork…nobody else interested…we are losing Ireland bhoys and we need to enthuse the locals

    Hi Ghuys, Salve salve ;- As someone who did not want Lenny as the manager, I am delighted to offer my congratulations to him for a tactical master class today. I said that come the end of the season I hoped I would be eating humble pie, I still hope that is the case and that Lenny can bind the whole squad together and create the kind of team spirit we all like to see. What is most pleasing for me is that it looks like He has learned from the cluj game. Well done today Bhoys and thanks for a memorable and satisfying victory.

    Read a few pages over on FF forum. Plenty of bed wetting going on :)

     

    Most of them are blaming it on SG’s team selection. Few give us any credit whatsoever. Basically we were crap, but they were worse.

     

    The more astute ones noted that NFL did to them what they did to us in last two games – get into them with all guns blazing.

     

    Plenty throwing in the towel too, saying that they only play well in Europe (even a few thinking SG is prioritizing it over the league.). Reality is setting in regarding Morelos?

    Was saying the same thing to Wee BGFC. Any throw in from 30 metres or closer to the opposition line is as good as a corner (hopefully we can improve our conversion rate from corners!!!).

    I’m happy so I’m not going to slag anyone but today was a lesson to all, not to be judging new players after a few games. Particularly lads coming from abroad. A new Country, Training Facilities, new team mates sorting out accommodation and a dozen other things, & then try to produce your best on the field .

     

    I think we found out today that we have genuine players in Boli, Julien, Elhamed & Bauer now that is the real joy of today.

     

    Only downside for me was Bitton doing his hammy, he was having a great game now he will struggle to get into team if Jozo & Ajer are back before him.h

    Johnjames is alright for a laugh sometimes – but he knows very little about the actual game. One or two other prominent bloggers and tweeters are the same.

     

     

    I like Phil Mac generally and he gets a lot correct ref Sevco finance, but I have to question his sources that were indicating disharmony in the squad and that we’d purchased a few dumplings for big money. I’m sure some high level humility will pour forth from Donegal….

     

     

    And talking of big money dumplings – is their Swedish boy injured or just getting it tight to oust goldson and Katic? Think about this – We have Ajer and simunovic to come back in. They have a lump of Swedish wood.

     

     

    We have Tom Rogic still working toward fitness – they have, eh, um, eh Murphy? Is he still there.

     

     

    Was trying to work out where their threat down the flanks would come from other than captain marvel (as in marvel at how Bolingoli and Johnstone totally dominated him) and it occurred to me that they don’t have any wingers aside from jones. Is ojo a winger?

     

     

    If other SPFL sides get their tactics right then I’m predicting a bigger winning margin for us in the league this season.

    It was VERY interesting to see.

     

    The rat would have been having kittens…….

     

    But for all the undoubted good he did for us.He only knew how to play one way.

     

    NL makes mistakes no doubt but he is pragmatic enough to change things up according to the fixture .

     

     

    Now we don’t fanny around at the back , no more cheap giveaways to the opposition.

     

    I believe the rats team could have performed better in tough european matches with a more pragmatic set up….but probably over-performed against weaker opposition because of his footballing from the back set up….it only works when you are miles better than the opposition
