Well no one to blame today but ourselves. Both teams were poor at times, rangers more so than Celtic. But Chrisitie’s passing and Calmac’s at times was woeful. Laxalt’s and Frimpong’s final balls really let rangers off the hook. Eddie still not on fire and not sure he will ever be now. Man on the post and that goal was easily prevented. Can’t see us overcoming a 19 points deficit. So be it. For the rest of the season I’d stop playing loan players and play those that will be with us next season. Give them experience. Why not? Next season I think we will be without Elhamed, Ajer (like him to stay), Bitton (I hope so), Brown, Duffy, Laxalt, Christie (I hope so as he’s become so ineffective at passing, shooting and set plays and selfish too), Eddie, Elyanoussie, Rogic (I hope so, you can’t rely on him). Probably no place for Bain. Hopefully a new manager and coaching staff too.
Boyata is another who has not been adequately replaced.

We can rebuild on this, now is the time not tomorrow or the next day. We have a decent bunch of players a new coaching set up can work with. Been some run from the club but all good things end eventually. 2 good defenders required, ship those who want to go and give the new guy a few quid to work with.
Bitton was great in the defensive tackle and Christie scored lots of points for us. Oh, this wasn’t rugby??

I thought Ajer was maybe getting back to cover in the middle, so possibly a yellow. Not a blatant error to give a red, but I don’t think a yellow would have been a blatant error either.
Thought post-sending off / goal subs weren’t ideal, but a difficult position chasing a game with 10 vs 11.
Barkas is the worst goalkeeper I have ever seen in a Celtic jersey. Stops absolutely nothing. Not had a single memorable save since we signed him. He is in the wrong movie.

The Board were seen to back the manager in a crisis. OK. But now the ’10IAR’ looks impossible. If we have a high quality coaching candidate in the wings then Celtic & Neil should agree that, in the best interests of Celtic, he step down now in order that Celtic can start rebuilding. We cannot start soon enough and, after today, the new guy will not be lumbered with ’10IAR’ baggage.
Totally bossed the game, very similar to cup final against them, the keeper made the difference.
Just no luck today, still believe though .
Said before the game that Bitton was the wrong call. However, Duffy is pish as well.

It will give you some time to take instructions from PL regarding who to blame as long as it is not him.
The red-card wasn’t clear cut but Bitton gave the referee a decision. Had one of their players made the tackle Duffy made, we’d be screaming for a red-card.
Our defenders individually or collectively aren’t good enough.
If the season started now on level points, I’d have Sevco as favourites. With a 19 point lead (three games in hand acknowledged) then we need to be looking to next season.
Thought Soro was outstanding again today – love how he wins the ball and gets us going forward.
Of all seasons to get sloppy this is one the board own – Keeping players who don’t want to be here and signing players who are not celtic class. I’d never heard nor seen Duffy , when we signed hu=im I watched him play for Ireland and knew he was slow and cumbersome – NEVER the credentials for a forward playing celtic team.
We have player like Ntcham – has class and physique as well as something to prove – why not start him instead of teachers pet christie ?

We went to Ibrox at the perfect time with zero fans and still couldn’t score never mind win.
Sevco are at their worst they’ve been all season and still beaten us.
When you’re brilliant you score, therefore anyone using that adjective is missing the point.
Our boards decisions despite mounting evidence has us out of 4 tournaments, once they decided to stick they took ownership of our problems.
I’m keeping my eye and my anger for the real culprits, which is no longer Lenny or the players.

Like everyone on here totally disappointed with the result. It appears that we can play very good first halves but fall away in the second.
I agree with Uncle Jimmy that our management don’t carry forward progress, the Sky muppets were questioning whether the G51 club would make HT changes. Beale obv had seen enough and brought in another MF.
We did not respond. I would’ve been happier to have seen Broon on earlier for Soro
on the basis I feared Madden had visibly given him at least two warnings before the YC – which was caused by Christie giving the ball away.
IMO we fell out the game second half even before the red which – although feasible – is the kind that the G51-ers are never the victim of.
Clearly that changed everything.
League over, today a symptom rather than a cause as such; serious questions to be asked of many.
Saddened but extremely angry at the persistent mismanagement to the benefit of the Blue Pound. Yeez have got what yeez wanted.

Not a goal scoring opportunity, Ajer was covering in the middle. Thought Edouard and Christie should have been subbed earlier, Eddie especially was surrounded every time he had the ball and could have laid off to a team-mate several times rather than dribble into a cul-de-sac. Hey ho, on we go – but where to?
