  1. Garners game consisted of barging into people and falling over at slightest contact.

Never a footballer but at perfect club for his cheating antics.

Problem is even the hun support has recognized his inability at football and hate him.

If he had a better supporting cast with a team of footballers they would see his benefit.

But no team should consist entirely of clowns.

  2. EMUSANORPHAN,

Sorry pal but Callum is a young boy who once again had a great game, You’re right, he’s not Iniesta but who is?

You never know though he might be some day. Most importantly he’s playing for Celtic in a 5-1 demolition.

  3. A Ceiler

I used to be a careworker, looking after a young man who was from a Rangers background.

An Irish co worker always called them dirty Rangers.

I always had an issue with this.

This was his team, a very precious thing.

    I don’t like that team, but they are normal folk (and a few nazis.}

  4. Yogi.

No. Sometimes he would wear his Rangers top, and we would take him out.

And we were trying to make his life the best it could be.

  5. RASCAR CAPAC

    I’m talking about this.

‘I don’t like that team, but they are normal folk (and a few nazis.}’

Should it not be ‘they are Nazis and a few normal folk’. I speak with over sixty years experience of them.

  6. 4 league games left.

4 games to gather 6 points and hit the century.

4 games to score 8 goals and hit a century.

    To quote Bob the Builder.

    “Can we do it?

    Yes we can?

  7. Yogihughes

    5-1 demolitions.

New Year, I think January 2nd as I can’t be bothered looking it up, 1966.

We came back from an early goal and absolutely annihilated Rangers 5-1.

My brothers in law thought I was crazy because I put it down to the hammering their keeper, Ritchie, took from saving almost point blank shots from Yogi.

He was punch drunk at HT, and we came out second half and scored 5.

Hat trick from Stevie and a peach from Bobby Murdoch from outside the box.

Charlie Gallacher had the 5th but I can’t remember a thing about it.

I do have vivid, maybe slightly exaggerated, memories of Yogi gliding down the wing while their defenders were slipping and sliding all over the place.

The game was on an icy surface with half of Ayr beach covering it.

Over 51 years ago. Tempus fugit.

  8. I thought the goal from Lustig put a wee sheen on the win.

Apart from outplaying them, the Miller goal left the fans a wee bit flat.

Took some of the air out of our elation.

But Lustig’s goal underlined the fact that the team were unhappy about it and wanted to raise their game again to erase the strike.

  9. Neustadt-Braw on

    GeeGee..

Obviously nothing to do with that..

My post is for the Sclaff Meister..

Hope your day went as planned..

  10. Good morning CQN from a dull, mild but still dry East Devon.

Great display yesterday, what Celtic did was remove the referee from the equation.

    Hail! Hail!

  11. ……..night crawlers……….an’ spooky-costumed guisers……

    …….who’d a thunk it?

    Yikes!

    …thems must be hurtin’.

  12. Wow, what a day.

I thought Callum McGregor had a great game, doing what the manager wanted. His improvement is phenomenal.

    HH.

Ps: what were the water sprinklers on for before the game as it was lashing with rain. Simples, they were cleansing the park for us.

I knew then, we would absolutely hammer them.

  13. A great time to be a Celtic fan.

    A wonderful performance yesterday.

As we sing, playing football The Glasgow Celtic way.

It’s amazing, before the game I would have been happy with a 1.0 victory but after we had scored 4 I was greedy and was saying please give us 5.

    Messi/ Lustig obliged. Just fabulous.

    Hail Hail to all.

  14. 16 roads - Celtic über alles... on

    Terrible, terrible hangover.

I’ve never before seen a team play the game so well.

    Celtic yesterday were extraordinary.

Ya sometimes become disillusioned with modern football – that Manchester derby was an affront to the sport.

    Celtic restored the faith.

    It was real.

No superlatives can do justice to that Celtic display.

    Just total football it was.

    Hail Hail.

  15. Morning to TIMLAND !

    i don’t have a hangover, as I didn’t have any drink.

I wish to bring s serious matter to the attention of the MODS on here.

It is utterly disgraceful and down right FOUL PLAY, when posters on here type their thoughts at a certain speed.

Theses unruly posters are flying in at a dangerous and reckless pace to type their posts.

When are the MODS gonna red card or at least yellow card these word speed posters, as an innocent Celtic man could be seriously injured trying to keep up.

I also dislike it when these speed posters use BIG words that I can not understand….and at great feckin speed let me tell you.

    c’mon MODS…get a grip of these peepil.

    ” NO HUNS in Ibrox”

  16. 16 roads - Celtic über alles... on

By the rivers of zombielon, there we sat down

Ye-eah they wept, when they remembered the Celtic Champions.

    HH.

  17. I wanted drink but I couldn’t go out.

That has led to a non alcholic hangover….as I gave myself a sore heid thinking about all the beer I couldn’t have.

I would hope that much of what went on yesterday is in the Refs Report, the pitch intruder, the throwing of missiles etc.

Are the SPL/SFA gonna punish THEM ?

I won’t be holding my breath.

I predicted that the huns would attempt to injure Celtic players, most of the time they couldn’t get close enough. I also predicted a riot if Celtic won….and maybe not a riot….but one pitch invader too many.

It’s time that bigot, racist dome was closed down forever.

“Starry Plough August 1966 Glasgow Cup when it was first teams Ibrox 4-0. I was there, singing We’ve just sunk an Orange submarine as we surged down those dangerous exits. Oh yes. 5-1 in the January of that year, a Chalmers hat trick that time. Two four goal wins in the one year then, two in the one season now. These ARE good times.”

    *****

These stats aren’t really relevant to yesterday’s game, though, are they, given that Sevco is a new club, founded in 2012!

  19. Dontbrattbakkinanger on

On (another )grand ole mornin’ like this I’m goin’ to raise (another) prayer in thanks for Mr Fergus Mccann.

  20. Good morning friends from acloudy but fairly calm and certainly dry East Kilbride.

Ianbhoy929 – no more competition for the next 8 days as, God willing, in around 20 hours I’m off to Ibiza for a week ;-)

  21. What is Portuguese for ” Get me out of here” ?

Pedro’s Paupers down and out ….big time.

Maybe his game plans are viable …..it’s just that he has hasn’t realised that he’s trying to “educate” bunch of unskilful thicko’s ?

A few weeks ago some on here and in the smsm were talking about Celtic possibly signing Hyndman…………………..what Celtic player would be left out of the squad on match days to accommodate him ?….answers on the back of a stamp please.

AKA Scott Allan”…IF we only signed him to feck up the huns then okay…but Brendan doesn’t have to go down that road……….THEM are NOTHING…..yesterdays demolition will I truly believe , have the most telling effect on THEM……as there will be some who ONLY NOW realise how big the GAP is.

I have read and heard huns talking about investment to try and catch Celtic….that’s all very well IF they ever got any legal monies…..but do those same Huns expect THIS Celtic under Brendan…to simply stand still and allow that to possibly happen ?

Brendan is ALWAYS talking about improvement and further development of the Celtic squad in almost every interview……THEM MUST and should be AFRAID…VERY AFRAID !

I noticed a few weeks ago, they were playing “Glad all over” by The Dave ” KING”….Sorry Clark FIVE…wonder if they played it yesterday ? this song has been hijacked by THEM from Crystal Palace FC and fans.

Answer – Craig Gordon? Though big Craigie offers a greater aerial threat at corners!

Why did we take our foot off the gas again yesterday?

That’s two weeks in a row and a habit we need to shake before we play in Europe.

SC improved a wee bit on las week but still needs Buck up his ideas :)

  26. Joe Filippis Haircut on

Good Morning Bhoys from an overcast Central Scotland. What a great game yesterday 1-5 flattered the Rangers if we had taken our chances who knows what the final score would have been.I must admit to being a Sparky fan he is a great wee striker and for me he is better than Dembele his goal yesterday was a real cracker talk on CQN about who we will sign in the summer I believe Brendan will have already sorted out who he wants and he wants them in to prepare for the CL I also believe it will be interesting to see who we will let go in order to trim the squad. H.H.

it wasn’t all a dream – from bbc website

Leigh Griffiths marked his return to the Celtic starting line-up with a fantastic goal

McGregor’s goal came early in the second half

Sinclair scored his fourth goal in six games against Rangers this term

Rangers were humbled in their fifth defeat by Celtic this season

  28. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

Oh and we can forget Paddy he’ll be playing first team football for his own team next season, mark my words

  29. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

Bah humbug, but what a first half, the best football since WGS :)

  30. A Stor Mha Chroi on

Watched the game again and just wanted to say that yesterday Boyata’s jersey was bursting at the seams. The boy looked every inch an assured central defender and if he can keep his confidence we have a player. A very good player.

He looked like he was enjoying himself, likewise Simunovic. We have ourselves a back four who can play.

  31. A Stor Mha Chroi on

    CANAMALAR:

I think Paddy is good enough for any EPL team but I sincerely hope Celtic at least approach Man. City with an appropriate offer; if not to buy outright at least to extend his loan stay by another 10 years.

  32. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

    A Stor…,

I’m with you on that but I think a lot of people are discounting the biggest threat to that happening which is, the bhoy has done exactly what he was loaned out to do, get first team football, improves his strength and learn how to battle, there’s not a stage more suited to those require nets that scotch land and the hammer throwing cabertossing quagmires he visited this season.

He shone against his own team in Europe scoring a goal then consistently outplayed everything Scotland had to challenge him with. He gets the shit kicked out of him on a weekly basis and just gets up and on with it,myth at is the attitude of a champion and I doubt very much it’s gone unnoticed by Guardiola.
