Was the THUG who invaded the pitch yesterday arrested ? After watching this it seems he was allowed back into the crowd, no sign of any police in the vicinity as they were all down at the Celtic end watching us celebrate. This is what you get when you have volunteer stewarding. Brilliant at defending goalposts after 90mins but useless if a violent incident is about to take place
I wasent making comparisons with RD & B R my point was Commons attitude as a player, and that maybe BR was a wee bit ahead more than RD, and Sussex Commons out for what he was and how he could upset his plans, just an observation.

Did Bobby Madden give the penalty yesterday?.Looked like Beaton was not sure if it was in or out,his linesman was saying nothing, then he looked around at Madden, and pointed to the spot.Pedros assistant then getting the explanation from Madden.
That battery being held up by Griffiths is hardly the type that would fit in a phone or radio.
Just wonder if it was taken in specifically to be thrown. Nasty.

Your post brings out a smile in me because it reminds me of what I, as a Glaswegian, think is the funniest opening line in any book found in The Long Glasgow Kiss by Craig Russell.
It opens:
” Some concepts are alien to the Glaswegian mind. Salad. Dentistry. Forgiveness.”
Hail, hail and if you like a read about Glasgow, crime and who ran it laced with humour, I commend the three books about Lennox (not Bobby) to everyone.

Spoken to a few old acquaintences after the game yesterday. All long-time Celtic fans. Overwhelming feeling was of “quiet elation” at where we are, but everyone felt we had missed a chance to really make an historic mark – 7,8,9, or even 10.
I agreed. If we had kept pushing after the fourth I reckon it would have been 6-0 at least.
However, for those of us who remember 1994, such talk seems childish, sinful even. We are where we are and it’s a brilliant place.
On FF there is a growing anti-King camp, but no suggestion of a realistic way ahead. I suspect Ashley will be back soon, be interesting to see how they react to that.

At the beginning of the 2016-17 season, Celtic broke the mould by becoming the first British club to implement a safe standing section at their home, Celtic Park, after five years of pressure from fan groups. The area accommodates around 2,500 fans and has been credited with adding a renewed vibrancy
I’m sure the home team will be taken to task on the unlicensed stewards at Ibrox, or like the problem with the roofing, they may just sweep it under the carpet.
Noticed in the penalty clip that big Craig Gordon couldn’t watch Sincy taking the penalty. He stood facing the Celtic fans – hadn’t noticed that before.

Compare and contrast the trackside police presence at Parkhead in a Glasgow derby match against The Rangers compared to the same fixture when hosted at Ibrox.
Something does not equate. Something is not right.
Do Scotland’s finest refuse to man up inside Ibrox because of unpaid invoices?
Don’t let anyone kid you it wasn’t the first time Celtic had scored FIVE goals against Rangers away, it wasn’t a humiliation, and it wasn’t embarrassing, it was just a Sevco surrounded by old flies.
Celtic thrashed a very ordinary cobbled up team who have done remarkably well to be third in the SPL at the first time of asking. Their team is filled with puny EBT imitations’ in a poor tribute to a club that committed football hara kiri
In these unique times there should be no comparison with Rangers, because Rangers died, and we are competing with Aberdeen, Sevco and the rest, but this time on a level playing field.
This is our gift, given because of what the old Rangers generation did to Scottish Football, and its life lasting.
To forgive is to forget so I suppose your right, some things are hard to forget, it’s not a big deal mate, just my observation. :)

Delighted to hear it,bud. They’re a grand bunch of lads.
I’ve not been there for about 18 months now, mainly because I can only go on a Saturday.
But…
Sunday 21st May is shouting long and hard at me,and I’m on holiday that week.
(Hint hint to order in more Guinness, lads!)
When atop Ben Narnian in Arrochar on a clear day you can see Ailsa Craig. (Paddy’s milestone) there off the coast of Girvan in the irish sea.
True.
But is it a gap? Lol
