    any suggestions what this headline’s getting at?

    I look out front of house mhate and see Ailsa Craig everyday , a stunning view ! Still on a high after yesterday, off to Ayr soon for a few beers and some lunch HH !

  3. Rewatching the match.

    Boyatta’s (soft) yellow card. Notable that Lustig and jozo there immediately to add muscle.

    First half assault on Sinclair, Lustig ran half the pitch to back up.

    1 in, all in. In an overtly unrepentant fashion.

    Me likey, me likey a lot.

  4. It will be a while before the true cost of yesterday is known. Thems hoardes are lining up to tell the world they wont be back. This season they sold 44k season tickets and yet their finances are hanging by a thread. As it stands they wont sell anywhere near that next season. Pedro has a 3 year contract and a backroom team. There is zero chance he will be a success, he is already a dead man walking. Not only did we humiliate them, the collateral damage will run into millions of pounds.

    Spot on

    There would have been the same “gap” with the old club if they had been playing by the rules and living within their means.

    The MSM can’t seem to grasp this, although I think Tom English might be getting there!

    Good times ahead for us..

    Unlikely, given the weather on the Clyde Coast.

  7. In the early stages of the match yesterday when things were getting feisty I thought the young ref might lose control but in fairness he steadied the ship and had a very good game. Celtic played some brilliant football on what was an exceptional billiard-like surface and for a lot of this game it looked like Celtic versus Kenny Miller.

    Really impressed with both central defenders displaying great physicality and sharpness in the tackle. Leigh Griffiths is back to his best before the layoff, scoring goals another fantastic effort that came back off the crossbar. Paddy led the Rangers a merry dance and let’s hope we try and keep the lad.

  8. Good afternoon fellow Tims, due to excessive smiling and babychams last night I was tucked up in my bed early last night. I awoke at dawn still smiling, so to pass the time I decided to watch A re-run of Sky’s abysmal coverage of yesterday’s slaughter. Not only did I sit through the 3 hour programme I also watched a Spanish broadcast followed by a German version both on utube. does this make me a bad person?

  9. Watching Man Utd game – shocking penalty decision. A penalty is almost like awarding a goal, OK I know some are missed – point is, if technology is deemed necessary to award a goal when there is doubt about the ball crossing the line, then penalty decisions MUST be scrutinised likewise.

    Morning lads,

    Happy birthday wishes to CQN’s Torontony, 57 years young today.

    Hope you have a brilliant year, mate, starting in Lisbon!

  11. Afternoon everyone, still struggling to take daft grin off ma coupon.

    Need to drink a pint of bleach, or a wee look at that smug narcissistic arse Mourinho may just do the trick.

    Pleasantly surprised to see that the MSM are having a pop at the Orcs behaviour yesterday, a shift in the tectonic plates for sure. I also clicked on a link to the John James site this morning. A decent man I follow on Twitter had put up the link;dear God, he surely could not have read the article. The comments on that site were beyond the pale and made me feel ashamed I had clicked on the link.

    I will not make that mistake again.

    To better things, it’s a Bank Holiday Sunday, I’ve been to Mass, done the gym and my ragu for the tagliatelle bolognese is simmering nicely. Got a pile of gardening to do but that can wait till tomorrow, I fancy that Everton v Chelsea and Spurs v Arsenal will occupy my mind today. A draw double is my forecast. HH

  12. Very Gooooood Afternooon CQN

    Everybody Happy :-)

    Torontotony- bet you’ll have a very Hoooopy birthday, enjoy T

    (Oh did you have a square slice for big Mike yesterday, just to celebrate)

    Looking at a short long weekend in June to visit family and a special occasion, will bring big M a slab of square slice, and see if he shares it

    SFTB & MWD, a candle lit for your intentions at mass this morning.

    Visited my Auld Da and Maw after mass and even managed to look at the papers this morning :-)

    Hail Hail

  13. Anyone know why Stirling Albion are called the Binos ? Is it to do with Al`bion` ?

    JJ

  14. Regarding Roberts…did anyone else notice when he was coming off he seemed to have moist eyes, looking a bit emotional? Maybe the decision has been made that he won’t be around next season, I really hope not, on his current form he will cause problems for any defence.

  15. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

    Been reading back over some of the stuff I missed on here due to an unaccustomed bout of revelry and ribaldry yesterday.

    Wow,some smashing stuff and some welcome returning posters,but I really cannot praise this one highly enough.

    We cannot overlook the valuable contribution the mssm have made to our development as the top club in Scotland by a mile.

    Their constant lies and negativity about our club have given rise to a collective strength and unassailable mentality.The more they spun their lies the stronger out defiance becomes.

    Their praise of all things hun contributed to liquidation and their unwillingness to criticize no matter how egregious the crime they committed led to a superiority complex built on sand.

    They were told Chelsea fans did it in Manchester and the tax man put them into liquidation for something they did not do.

    Spending other peoples money was their birthright and only bitter haters wanted there money back.

    Even in the last two victories the mssm played a clear role in our easy victories.

    Beerman after a few games was compared to KT.

    Paddy put that idea to rest as he tore him apart,He looked like what he was a reserve not ready for the first team even at an average spl club.

    Their history of bumming up guys who will be career lower leaguers has fed nothing but an air of self delusion.

    Pedro was the new Mourinho until we proved he isnae.

    The only comfort for them is the conveyer belt of talent from Auchenowie that the mssm keep telling them.But the easy humping of their 17’s and development squad has even the most stupid doubting the mssm bullshit now.

    Lets hope the mssm deludes them into extinction.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Echoes my thoughts,but puts them in plain sight and plain language in a way I never could!!!!
    HH and thanks,mate.
  16. This is what I posted immediately before kick of yesterday about Aunt Sally nearly being in tears about Broony playing.
    BIG JIMMY on 29TH APRIL 2017 11:49 AM
    the Fat Hun Gardener HURTIN at Broony playing…..I was just waiting for him to DEMAND the names of the SFA panel who changed Broonys red card. as he claimed that ” the peepil running Scottish football are are hopeless etc..whit a phanny !
    J Collins agreeing with him….disgraceful !
  17. If only we could have borrowed one of Celtic’s goals yesterday – disappointing thing is that other results went our way but we couldn’t capitalise – anyway the table doesn’t lie –
    won’t spoil my weekendCSC
