Canny see the point of coming onto a blog if we can’t post our comments on what went right or wrong with our team . For me I have just watched the same celtic performance in Europe , we have since god knows when . For me Europe shows up our wants . Come to think of it some of our home games show up our wants , we have players who are not up to celtic standards , whoever’s fault it is, for now it’s too late , we could and should have brought in better ,. Now it’s on to murrayfield a result on Sunday ,will give me as much pleasure as a result tonight .

we can safely say, 20 players have been signed during Brendan’s tenure, the number of players and the identities of his requests remain a mystery. Only this season (3, that’s 5 transfer windows) has Brendan made a point of claiming he has not been supported. This is no rocket salad.

The commentary you listened to was all too accurate.
The longer the game went on, the more we were just punting it out of defence and to their midfield (often our clearances were that short of distance) or their towering centre backs.
Christie was the only one who for me emerged with an enhanced reputation.

We are mentally weak in Europe , I don’t know why . it’s almost like an inferiority complex. Jock Stein didn’t need sports Psychologist to send his team out ready to take on the world. Teams like Leipzig and AEK are beating us not on ability ,but on attitude and organisation.
Watching the second half of the Sevco game.
a) An entertaining game as both sides make a lot of mistakes ;
b) Sevco are an enthusiastic and attack – minded team;
c) Morelos is quie good player;
d) The Sevco crowd are not used to having a fair referee;
e) The BT commentary is more biased than Sevco TV;
f) Both sides can be dangerous but lack class.

I took some stick on here for saying AEK had inferior players to us but we were outcoached.
I also said they were a poor team and would be the whipping boys in their group which has subsequently been proven.
It’s almost a blessing we didn’t go through as we lack the mental fortitude to play higher level teams.
In Europe we are technically deficient with a fragile mindset.
Gash, as in last 10 years. My time in Seville is a generation away in terms of player/team ability and the standing of our club in Europe. Is BR a brexiter? ‘ cause he is our worst recent manager as far as Europe results are concerned. Sickened.

I have watched the zombies a few times this season (God forgive me … but I like to know what we are up against) …
I dont think they are as good as their fans think (they never are), but they are better than most on here would have you believe …
as you say, they are direct and play with more abandon than Celtic do…
but, the big difference for me is that they seem to have a belief in themselves (not always supported by the facts)…
as someone (sorry, I cant remember who) suggested earlier… there may be something to the WATP superiority thing gets drummed into them….

I wonder about this too. When Broonie went off on Saturday I thought Mulumbu would be straight on, in fact I was looking forward to seeing him, but he wasn’t even on the bench.
He didn’t travel to Germany, but I haven’t heard anything about injury.
That BT commentary on the Sevco game was as bad as I recall hearing.

I dont think any one is calling Brendan Rodgers a dud.
Our performances in Europe have been poor though.
Ok its the board for not backing him.

They did sanction Comper Musonda Koussasi Hayes Gamboa, De Vries, all of whom seem to be Brendans signings and none of whom have done very well.
