Reason to enjoy Wednesday night number 67: Victor Wanyama didn’t get booked.
21-year-old Victor is a fabulous talent but he has also been a tad rash in his earlier Champions League outings this season. One more yellow card will bring a suspension but his timing, and more importantly, his concentration, on Wednesday was excellent. This is a player maturing; more to come.
The 1254125 charity cycle left Lurgan this morning for Belfast port where they caught a ferry to Cairnryan. After they set wheel on Scotland they have a 37 mile cycle to Maybole, 7 miles of which is uphill, one of the most difficult parts of the endeavour.
They are people with the spirit of this club pumping through their veins right now. Check out their everyclick page for more information.

UEFA footage must be no more than 50% of DVD, which means Celtic are working hard at finding material for Celtic v Barca – the movie

Celtic have not lost two consecutive home league matches since 2004.
M7 – we’re meeting people today to hand over tickets. You should have heard from CRC via the WeeOscar4Life gmail account by now.

Maxibhoy, cafe Salma at charing x is a fantastic curry house, the guys are really welcoming also. Mother India great also.
I can’t see Lenny taking any half measures today – need a convincing win. Would be good to see Kayal getting a run out, and I’d think about resting Victor, but that’s about it. I feel a goalfest coming on!
Hoops and white socks today?

I hope Vincent Lunney the compliance officer was watching yesterday match at sevco surely if our club gets reported to the SFA over a banner this 4th tier division side who brought a bloody huge ARTILLERY GUN onto the pitch should be reported as well
Eurochamps67 –
I tried to park at the Velodrome at the midweek St Johnstone game. I was told that you can only park there if it is the Velodrome you are visiting – my colours gave me away! So swot up on some cycling knowledge in case you’re quizzed on the ay in!

Andrew 67: I’m going to the game today but it’s the boy’s 13th birthday. Might be interested not really sure what is offered ? Time is a factor too.
Means I’ll be able offer my two (parent and child in 11) tickets.

I remember years ago, during the centenery season, trying to get some pals to go to the Scottish Cup tie against Hibs (0 0 I think it ended). No matter what I said and argued they were not interested.
A few years later, after Euro 1996 (football becoming cool) and Fergus having built the stadium, they were all season ticket holders.
They rode the waves from the stopping of the 10, MON, WGS but floundered during mild mannered Mogga’s reign.
Now Lenny is in charge there is still no sign of them. They’ve “moved on” I suspect and I don’t think this is an isolated example.
I suppose I’ll see them sometime at future European games or even a game against those plucky sevconian upstarts, but I reckon that demograph are gone for good from domestic football.
Just out of interest, how much money did HMFC miss out on last year ‘cos RFC were not kicked out of the league when they should have been?
my son has to find proof of the existence of God for homework – anyone know any ?
apart from hmrc, mulgrew , jinky etc.
Means I’ll be able offer my two (parent and child in 11) tickets.
Oops Area 113.
I think the Gazebo is a right wing elitist type of proprietary. Philvisreturns is the Mhan that owns and manages it.
Dolphin steaks and that rather expensive chateaux de pape from France.

jackie mac – Celtic beat Barca in the CL, while our old enemies languish in the bottom division…..there must be a Ghod. :-)

It will be paticulary interesting this afternoon to see how the bhoys handle the bread and butter of a home SPL league game against St Johnstone after scaling the heights in the heady atmosphere of the CL clash against Barcelona.
This is the type of thing we have had to handle often in the past and hopefully more and more so in the coming seasons.
Unfortunately though, we have not always handled it well. Fatigue is a factor, but probably the psychological thing is more important.
Perhaps this is one the tasks that Jim McGuiness has been brought in to address: the ability to switch from one environment to the other inthe smoothest way possible.
In any case, Jim’s appointment is to be applauded: another sign that things are coming together at Celtic Park now that we are free the OF ball and chain that has been a dead weight for us for so long.
When the gun went off at Newco game yesterday three quarters of the crowd immediately ran to Govan shipyards looking for a job.

The support grows then wanes, it just happens. No single reason,
Stopped going myself to play football, then started again only to stop for money reasons. There’s guys in my work, older Celtic supporters, who travelled from London for matches in years gone by, but haven’t been for donkeys.
It’s galling when I struggle to get a ticket, not having one for Seville still irks me.
All it takes is a night like Wednesday to rekindle their support and the club must find a way to recapture them.
Vmhan
So you haven’t found the Gazebo yet!

There are many reasons for fans not renewing STs
Some financial, some logistical ,some work related …the list could go on
Personally I no longer have an ST …I previously had two …one for my son and I
My son is at Aberdeen Uni …I live an hours drive away ….logistically and personally not getting a ST ..made sense …I’ve been to most games this season …even the ST J cup game
Each to there own …however all you ST holders have a louder voice ..just my opinion

Genuinely laughed out loud at that.
