Hi Fellow Celtic Fans!
Slightly off-topic I know… I have tickets for tomorrow nights Women’s Basketball Semi-Final between USA and Australia. My blood, and heart, is 100% Celtic being born of Scottish parents and descended from Irish and Scottish Grandparents. As such I am not just a mad-keen Celtic Supporter, but I am proud to be Scottish and PROUD TO BE BRITISH! As such I intend to wear my beloved Hoops to the Women’s Basketball Semi-Final (hopefully celebrating a victory tonight!), but I also intend to proudly wave the Union Jack! (I can just imagine quite a few folk on here might find that unpalatable, but if so then please ask yourself why?) I hope that the demise of Rangers helps to create conditions in which I can celebrate all of the above and not be somewhow lambasted as a ‘Hun’. Just as Zbsyzek (apologies if spelt incorrectly!) can celebrate being Polish AND being a Celtic Supporter, I don’t see why I can’t celebrate being BRITISH and being a Celtic Supporter. After all, INCLUSIVENESS is one of the cornerstones of this fine Club and Institution that I Love, is it not?
