Did New Rangers have to pay a tax bond on their establishment? I remember some talk of this in the run up to Old Rangers liquidation. Some mentioned that they would have to stump up somewhere in the region of £5 Million to the tax man.
Is this the case and if so I wonder if it has been paid, by whom and how?

RTC’s post is the perfect reality check for the MSM fantasies which have been trotted out in respect of DM and Sevco this week.
Another reality, which will no doubt remain unreported is that (and I have this from a very senior non-Sky media source) that the TV companies are not at all convinced that Sevco will survive the season.
Perhaps the question we should now be asking is if there is any clause in the new TV contract that involves a Sevco insolvency contingency which impinges on the SPL side of the contract. My guess is that there is

“At the SFL AGM on 23rd May, 2012, the member clubs approved an alteration to the terms of SFL Challenge Cup Rule 8 to allow two trialists to play in the First Round only of the Challenge Cup Competition.”
