Celtic much livlier since Frimpong came on
This formation with the current personnel doesn’t work. There is no creativity in the centre of the park. Our best players, Eddy and Calmac are stymied by playing this formation.

Broonie is on a yellow and is slow. The warning signs are there.
Same players, same performance, same result?
Half time 0-0. No lack of effort , but very little creativity or inspiration. We shouldn’t be struggling against this calibre of opposition, but we always struggle against a team who sit deep around their own 18 yard box. Not much to commend in the first half.

this is grim – only frimpong looks like he can create something! we have nothing in midfield , no one can take a man on – its tippy tappy predictable pedestrian and WAY too much respect shown for this team – 2 strikers .
NL is too cautious for us when we should turn up as CELTIC and blow this mob away
Have always loved Broonie but not sure what he offers us now – hate to say it but he is currently not worth the jumper.
Taylor works really hard but he doesn’t have what we need in that position- need pace over 10 yards to beat a defender but he doesn’t have it and cuts in and passes back all the time.

This is just dire. Slow tempo, little off the ball movement, and no urgency. This line up is making Odsonne look like a plodder.

Bitton has been excellent. Frimpong needs to learn to down when he’s fouled, particularly when in the opposition box FFS. Is Eddy playing?

Looks to me that Ajeti would be ideally suited to this game.
Bitton, CakMac & Ntcham are the 3 Celts that caught my eye first half.

It’s the same stuff different day as we cannot find a way round these defensive set ups. We create very little and look weak at the back – not a good combo.
Lenny needs to learn from the past and be proactive with his subs. This has not been good tonight. I don’t want to be 1-0 down before Ajeti comes on.

Playing in a team devoid of creativity I feel for him.
Broony on a yellow and has looked flat footed – I’d replace him and get some someone in there who can run from deep.
On the left back position – the board has let the manager down here – how long does it take to bring a player in. By the time we sign someone its too little too late.
SB should come off following his yellow plus he’s a waste of a creative jersey , Ajeti needs to come on and play centre forward and allow Eddie to face their goal and not play with his back to goal.

I for one will not disagree with you . I like to see Eddy dribble through when hes in or around the box with the chance of getting a free kick or penalty but not every time he gets the ball . It just ends up losing possession . This game is just like playing a bottom six side domestically . We need more pace and creativity . Get Ajeti on .
I’d put Ajeti on for Christie after 60 mins and Turnbull for Brown ASAP.

Because he stands in front of the defence, he’s the safe pass when under pressure but with 3 at the back one of the defence can play that role.
