BRENDAN RODGERS is considering allowing Ryan Christie to leave Celtic on loan until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old midfielder has struggled for first team appearances since his £500,000 arrival from Inverness Caley Thistle in 2015.
Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes, who has also been linked with Kris Commons, is interested in giving some much-needed game-time to the talented Highlander as the Dons aim the ensure that they finish the season as runner-up to Celtic in the league.
Competition in the Hoops midfield has become more intense since the £2.8million arrival of 19-year-old Ivorian Kouassi Eboue.
Parkhead gaffer Rodgers admitted yesterday players could be leaving before the end of the month.
He said: “There will maybe be one or two who will go out on a loan basis. I suspect there will be some change in the squad before the window closes .”
Christie has scored one goal in seven appearances for the champions this season.
