  1. Not at our best on a surface not conducive to slick football.

Credit to Ross County for keeping down our scoring chances and the free kick looked like our best opportunity to score and didn’t LG take it well?

The club’s in the chasing pack wI’ll do well to come away from Dingwall on full points so today is a potential gap widener.

  2. Hunderbirds-good post last night, even though I moan a bit now and again:-)) COWIEBHOY-lovely story regarding number 2 daughter,JC2 did you manage to see the game? And finally what a hit from the grif:-))

  3. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

    !BADA BING!

Aye. If Bonner had been in goal, that would have been plenty.

Hard to imagine I could love a former celt less.

  4. Job one, three points and #64 in our superb unbeaten run. Well done to Griff on a superbly taken free-kick.

Thought Broonie had a fine game. Big week ahead now for the club.

    HH

  5. Tough game. They made it difficult. Moussa won’t have any worse games than the one he had today. Terrible performance for a man of his talent. He will learn from it.

A great 3 points. We’ve played better there and lost or drawn.

  6. BMCUWP-brilliant comment regarding Bonner, couldn’t agree more.I was working today so had to listen to the start of the game on radio Scotland and the commentator said after about 4mins that Coyle will be happy with the last minute and a half:-))happy with what?by the by bonner agreed with him

  7. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Bobby, I worked wth a couple of Airdrie fans who thought their players were picked on , when McDonald was their boss.

That Airdrie team were niggly , sneaky , over aggresive, who played like their manager did when e was a player.

Ex Hearts player , Jimmy Sandison played as sweeper for Airdrie . He was mince .

One of the Airdrie fans told me the pass back rule destroyed Sandison’s career as passing back to the keeper was his only skill.

Another awkward match out the way for us.

I’m hoping we play well on Wednesday . Moussa will start as will Olivier. Today, It looked like some of our players were more focused on the PSG game.

  8. 3pts when not at our best, garbage pitch which got worse, brilliant free kick to win the points from Griff , down the road safe to all, referee will go far within the SFA.

  9. DALLAS DALLAS-a wee bit like the killie game prior to BM,it’s understandable I think, the pitch looked pretty poor also

  10. Right Celtic, see when I pick you in LMS, get the job done earlier

    Thanks Griff

At least 11 of us through

    Onto 65 now

    Hail Hail

*I have a black and white group photie in here and by in here I mean the room I’m sitting in right now. As soon as I find it I’ll post it.

  13. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

    Fairhill bhoy, good point.

Today like the Hibs and Killie games, our midfield did not play as well as it can , which can affect our effectivness. Calum plays better when he is not playing in a more advanced position . He is better , in my opinion, playing with the game in front of him as he reads the game well plus sees gaps he can run into.

  14. Three points and off down the road with no serious injuries.

    As for the game.

Instantly forgettable bar the free kick winner.

A rubbish game for all concerned. Pitch set up like a ploughed field and a ref more suitable for today’s test at Murrayfield.

The joint record crowd in the stadium and a live TV audience must be wondering why nobody can see what’s wrong with Scottish football.

Teams are not obligated to entertain but then again fans are not obligated to buy tickets or watch tripe.

ps I’ve never seen a referee shove a player the way Brown was shoved by the ref today. Bizarre.

  15. DALLAS DALLAS-was starting to settle for a point so over the moon with 3.We we’re never under any real trouble today, but we found it hard to break them down so well played the grif:-))

  16. Terrible game, terrific result.

For the opposition the Leigh Griffiths free kick is like a rocket they know is coming and also know there is nothing they can do to stop it.

Incredible regularity the number of times Leigh gets the ball up and back down again in time to go under the bar.

Pitch was a leveller in the Highlands just as it was with Inverness and the entire environment usually means a slog, especially with serial foulers Draper O’Brien and Gardyne in you’re face for 93 minutes.

Fresh with new manager syndrome Ross County played for a point, filled the pitch with men behind the ball but class is what makes the difference and its why it’s Celtic v The Rest.

    M.O.M Leigh Griffiths

  17. Thought Moussa was a bit out of sorts today as was a lot of our players. Griff was the master stroke by Brendan. Even playing below par we are to good for any other team in Scotland. To fecking easy.

  18. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Fairhill Bhoy, we did what he had to do today. Grinding a result can be as important a free flowing won during the season. Onwards to Wednesday.

  19. We’ll done to the Bhoys for coming away with the three points and in particular to The Griffalo…it was always going to be tough on that great leveller of a Pitch …. more suited to the egg ball game…

Moussa was never going to perform on it…. also it does not do Scotty Sinclair’s confidence any good missing sitters like the two in the second half…If I was a betting man, which I’m not, I would be at the bookies for odds on us being drawn await to Ross County in the Scottish Cup…

Any way we shouldn’t be back in Dingwall in the league this season

    COYBIG

  20. Afternoon all

Did not head north today – way too early a start for me after a night out

Great result after a lacklustre display though I thought we were a lot better in the second half. I can see where the pundits are coming re our penalty shout but I know I thought it was before any replays.

Hopefully PSG will not be another caning but our next game at Hampden is a bigger game.

I feel a form slump is due for December similar to last year 8 league games played and 8 games, er, won.

    Jimbo67

  21. DALLAS DALLAS-agreed,it’s a good feeling having a manager that knows what’s needed and is never slow to change it when needed. As a supporter you just have a belief in everything he does.magic so it is:-))

  22. 17 straight wins away from home in domestic competition, must be closing in on another record, anyone know ?

quite wonderful celtic times we live in,
