  1. I know silverware is important, but we are in such injury straits I would select as many of the team that started against Betis as possible against Hibs on Sunday. Starfelt is out of the St. Mirren game, and it would be just our luck if he were joined by others injured in the Cup Final.

  2. OMG do last minute winners come any better than.

    I don’t think so

    The penalty not awarded.?

Don’t worry, Crawford Allan will be all over it at the weekend

    Surely?

    Hail Hail.

  3. Nice wee bit of writing Bsr 👍

despite ‘obstruction’ by Alan Muir, more than once. Ironic, the waved on stonewall penalty led directly to a switch of wings, a Tom Rogic assist and a salmon leap winner from Ralston.

  4. Ange: I’m glad we we can send the fans home happy and I hope they take their time and take care on the roads on the way home.

I think he means it as well.

  5. I have been a bit puzzled why the malign MIB have been awarding us so many free kicks around the ‘D’, especially today. Then it struck me – they know we don’t have a clue how to score from there. Juranovic’s late free kick was the first one in many moons we have had on target forcing a save.

  6. Forget the penalty we didn’t get. It led to the winning goal and we might have missed the penalty if it had been given.

  8. We have 75% possession, create a host of chances, just like a rash of 1-0 victories recently. We score one goal and from then on the game is on a knife-edge because we can’t convert any other chances.

After the break tonight County changed their system and front personnel- White is just a big ‘lump’ but immediately upsets us. They had five minutes of pressure and one of the substitutes (Baldwin) scores – he was only stopped a few minutes earlier by a great Ralston block, two chances one goal. That’s a collapse in my book. A five-minute collapse maybe, but at the time a costly one.

That we can come back and score playing with ten men is to our credit – it does NOT change what went on before.

We continually allow the likes of County, Livi & St Johnstone to drag us down to their level simply because we cannot turn our outfield superiority into goals. When we are at that level then the opposition are just as likely to score as we are – scoring one goal from ten chances will not, in the long-run, win enough games to win the league.

It should have been 3-0 at half-time & 5-1 at the finish – how many times have we said that recently?

  9. Two full backs and a winger up front, ten men for twenty minutes and we still won.

How can anyone have any doubts about Ange.

LETS ALL DO THE HUDDLE on 15TH DECEMBER 2021 10:47 PM

Starfelt needs to be shown videos of past Celtic galactico defenders who didn’t show pain but simply evened things up in their own way and time.

a bit hard not.to show pain when.your nose is fked

then after that the evening up will get u sent off anyway

is this still a celtic blog?

think celtic fans are out numbered on it

    ___________

Showing pain signals to whoever done you that they won and your being a big lassie about it rolling about the ground greeting to a MiB that detests you, like a child at school crying to the teacher.

Compare Starfelt being done, to any of our tough defenders since big Billy himself, and count the amount of times our real tough yins got done and rolled about the ground crying to the mib?

These real tough defenders at Celtic were brought into the team by tough managers who knew the Celtic script, that if your not tough and therefore not capable of looking after yourself then you’ll be handed your arse, or your nose, because Ange is blind to the sleekit street craft that’s specifically designed for Celtic players, because he wasn’t crafted in west of Scotland, or the six counties, so he’s obviously unaware of the underhand script that’s meted out to unsuspecting foreign Celtic players, so on that social sleekitry issue Ange has a blindspot and he seems to be surrounded by mollycoddled clipboard types of assistants one of whom, Stephen McManus, was a former Celtic captain who was continually bullied by Walter Smith’s EBT 3 in a row Rangers team, WS identified SM as a weak link so he was bullied by Cousan, Darcheville, Lafferty, etc, as SM was managed by WGS who anybody outside of Celtic knew WGS was a PLC puppet, a wee fly man, a weakling against the powerful, and powerful against the weak, “WGS is a CEO’s dream manager” said Lawwell, WS was savvy enough to see that WGS was another Celtic manager who’d fell for this, play the Celtic Way malarkey, which ends up with Celtic manager being sacked for being naive, and a weak puppet, an ass liker of any PLC bullshit.

But back to tonight, I don’t think the striker tried to harm Starfelt, I think Starfelt was unsure of how to handle the big striker, so imho, Starfelt was so unsure that he made a mess of his approach and ended up with a bloody nose. Look at it again and if your capable of having a fair and honest mind about it, you’ll see the strikers arm was straight and not aimed at Starfelt. Reactions immediately after the game are usually emotional and unbalanced. Take care.

  13. Tony R’s interview – seems a very grounded and humble young pro.

He’s not giving up that RB berth to any old international that blows in here, and his crossing and finishing is the envy of fullbacks in any divi.

  16. Ralston’s winner looks better every time. Thanks for the link to the goal everyone. PS – Turnbull’s free kicks are crap and Juranovic’s crosses were bad but he could be a useful free-kick taker.

As for the health discussion earlier.

“The further a society drifts from truth the more it will hate those who speak it.” ~ George Orwell

    ###

    Orwell didn’t say that.

Other things he didn’t say include:

‘speaking the truth in times of universal deceit is a revolutionary act’ and

    ‘football without fans is nothing’

He did however coin the phrase ‘John Greig’s a bastard’.

Hi Ernie, just getting to your reply sorry about delay.

I have to correct you Ernie, as I was working as a waitress in the cocktail bar were he said these, and many more phrases, but when he got to the John Greig bit, folk started to climb onto tables and started to sing the “Celtic Song” and the auld Orwell fella pulled out a fiddle from inside his long trenchcoat and shouted,

“Big Packy, you and Big Jimmy get these eejits a few rounds on the house, ya pair a CHUMPs!”

The place was electric, Orwell doing the Riverdance jig whilst playing his auld fiddle that was packed with biscuit tin savings :) then JHB walked in wearing a c19 mask, and all fell silent, and Orwell thumbed his nose and pointed at JHB saying,….

“This wasn’t meant to get this far. They’re more sheepish than even I predicted. You may leave now, the party is truly over with JHB arriving in such style, but I’ll tell you all before you leave, if you want to turn this world around and maybe even save it before we enter 1984 territory? Then dig out episodes of ITV’s ‘World In Action’ from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, specifically about ‘The Troubles’ in Ireland and the coverage of the oppressed Irish Republican community, and how they protested against their would be colonizers, and you’ll very quickly realise that protesting isn’t confined to walking for miles holding up bits of cardboard, and then being ignored, and shafted even harder, simply because your peaceful people, that doesn’t work with warmongering lizard people, and the lizards you’ll be protesting against don’t respect peaceful people, because their evil bstds, who wreck peace worldwide, but if you study that Irish Republican community approach to their oppressors, then there is a ‘flaming’ brilliant ingredient in their weaponry, which amounts to a sort of holy grail style of escape key method, [which I can’t mention here for obvious reasons, who knows how many jigsaw fans might be reading?] but the Irish Republican community approach, wasn’t about holding up bits of cardboard and asking to be respected by their oppressors, so in short, copy the ‘flaming’ Irish Republican community, and you’ll see the chains breaking from your feet wrists and minds!”

He can mumble oan a bit once he starts the auld Orwell fella. Jeez a thought he’d never shut up, so cyber beer to JHB for scaring the stuffing out of him with that silly mask he had on! 👍 🍺 😉
