Good to see John Paul Taylor celebrating with the players for the second goal.

And what about Jota hugging a cop?

  2. Sorry for a negative post BUT:

JHB probably still stuck with his three farters in a car back from Dingwall, I can smell the shit from here.

60% sectarian Celtic supporters blinded by ‘strict it to the Huns’. CSC

  3. more positives! Kyogo another game under his belt and getting sharper by the day – will be a thorn next week. Maeda and Hatate taken off early and will be fresh for next week. Turnbull more game time.

O’reily must start for his physical presence

My only concern is full backs – esp since Josip is out and we will miss his speed.

  4. BACK TO BASICS

“Can honestly say I wasn’t particularly nervous watching the game today.”

    —————————————————-

For those who have this “Result never ever in doubt” outlook, I really wish I could be as sanguine. I’m starting to get nervous already about next Sunday! I want us to crush the Govan thugs so badly, I will be a bag of nerves in 7 days time.

  5. Stebhoy- We dont need fullbacks.😂😂😂

    Tora Tora Tora.

Wing backs. 3 Centre backs and 2 wing backs. Turn Maeda into a wing back and play Greg Taylor as left back/wing back.

Get Maeda, GG, Koyogo, Jota, O’Riley and or Rogic on the park at the same time.

Might be next year but attack, attack, attack.

    D :)

Just watching Kyogo’s goal there. The ball’s touching the net when the keeper begins his dive.

    Hilarious.

  7. SPIKEYSAULDMAN

I’m glad someone else seen the performance from Taylor that I did and not just the last 10mins.

  8. Am a Greg Taylor fan … Tony Ralston worries me every time he starts

BUT …. I love both of their attitudes … they give it their best in every game and, I think one is a £2m signing and the other through Lennoxtown … but both very level headed kids still learning their trades

Some pro footballers don’t get to their very best until mid to late 20s …. These bhoys are doing a job for us fans

(all only in my opinion :-)

Terrific 3pts and another 3pts closer

  9. GFTB

Can’t critise their effort and commitment.

But we really should be aiming higher.

    Like Juranuvic

tim?bhoy163 – it is a man’s game and the man’s game has rules – different rules from when all these so called men were boys. I suppose you’d still allow barges on the keeper like the famous FA Cup Final incident ? Callachan’s first tackle – we didnt even get a foul – he played the man first before the ball – no celtic player rolling about as if hit by bus btw – Callachan’s second foul a booking all day long – at least. There is absolutely feck all macho about diving into a tackle when you have no chance of winning the ball.

Agreed that losing possession costs, but punting the ball typically loses possession. Keeping possession doesnt.

  11. As long as it stayed at 0-1 in the second half it was nervy – it just takes a lucky bounce etc – possession counts for nought.

Thought we were terrific first half and should have been out of sight.

    Subs made a difference

  12. The camera position is far too low and misses the action on the far side. Won’t do for VAR

  13. Who said, ‘I won’t be surprised if Jordan White scores the winner’ ?

    60% Celtic supporters

    Celtic Chumps CSC

  14. St Tams 5.32pm

Don’t disagree we should always be aiming higher

Josip has his own faults … shocking at Ibrox after 2mins following the ball and not his man

But we win that day so like today we can forgive those faults :-)

  15. David66 5.55pm

Exactly… todays win as far sweeter than last Sundays “draw” (over 90mins) …

Ange still unbeaten domestically in 90min football since September… you won’t read that in written media

Eyes on the prize… next game the objective ? Same as today … 3pts will do just fine :-)

  16. Good win but we do make it hard sometimes.

RC didn’t put us under pressure — we put ourselves under pressure.

We win games through flashes of talent not attitude.

Some great passages of play but a weak performance overall — too many mistakes.

Also we seem to have too many players who can have a great 45 minutes them disappear.

MO’R was the biggest culprit today but not the only one.

Good win / great result — but lots still to do.

When RC moved up a gear in the second half we were far too brittle.

CMcG after a run of good games was very poor — shooting was honking.

Not quite getting all the GT love — decision making is poor / struggles to keep focused.

Plus we cannot handle a clogger putting it about — he influenced our play even after his early booking. Not a good look to see him revel in the limelight / notoriety. We need to be able to sort this out on the pitch without the help of the referee.

Away support songbook — the first half was particularly bad while the second half was B side dross / concept album self indulgence.

Really need to replace the away support.

For too many the result doesn’t matter.

All that is important is a world tour of Scotland upsetting the locals and hearing your *hite on SKY.

  17. “TOM MCLAUGHLIN on 24TH APRIL 2022 5:09 PM

Can’t believe Eilidh Barbour is being slaughtered for suggesting it was a nervy win. Go back and read the live updates and come back and tell me nobody found it nervy.”

Andrew Petrie was the writer of the article to which I referred.

The article was promoting the view that Celtic were nervous; not the fans. I have said before on here that the players always look more confident than the support eg passing the ball out from the back.

PS I`m glad your bet came eup. Well done.

  18. MADMITCH on 24TH APRIL 2022 6:03 PM

After reading that post, I am certainly glad we didn`t lose !!!

  19. Everton have been unlucky. Liverpool cynically eradicate any pending danger, and score 60 seconds after they make 2 subs, including Origi, who creates the goal.

  20. As it stands, Everton in bottom three, 2 points behind Burnley, with a game in hand.

    Ya beauty!!!!!!!

    Indeed it was.
