Scott Brown not the only one worried about manager

1266

Scott Brown was not the only one was briefly worried about Neil Lennon’s position in recent months.  Neil has never particularly hidden his desire to work in England one day but when it became evident that there would be a few seats available in the English top flight, with the Everton job in particular becoming available, I am sure there were a few nervous twitches.

As and when Neil decides he is going to move on, Celtic will want to have a plan for succession in place, if not entirely executed.  In May, when Neil was fielding questions about moving on, I doubt any succession planning had taken place.  Some at the club would have been looking forward to a summer break and some player trading.  The prospect of finding a new manager, with all the inherent consequences for trading, preseason planning and Champions League qualification, would have caused mild panic.

Always be prepared.

How is your 1254125 work coming along?  Not started yet?  Today, Tom Conniffe completes his 125 mile walk along the Leeds-Liverpool canal.  Go look and see how well his fundraising has gone (and get involved if you can).

Why is it that this blog is inhabited by those that suspect conspiracies at every turn

Brazil the better football team on the night

Do you really think that FIFA are going to fix a game to appease a few socialists who are always looking for something for nothing

Are you on about the pitches at Mountblow, adjacent to the railway line?

  6. I’ll still have Spain as favourites for the world cup but maybe this is the end.

With Barca getting gubbed by ze Germans (and the Tims) and Brazil copying the same game plan is this it for what I’d say is the greatest type of football ever played.

  7. Mick1888 back on line after being away for most of the day you were sorely missed my friend. Were you counting the money you stiffed out of the Irish fans that came over for matches. Pity you don’t do walking away; permanently!

The fitba now is what the boxing was in the past….. a business provided to entertain us middle class Daily Mail readers to watch the working class try to knock the hell out of each other and then pay them handsomely for it

So no way would I remotely associate FIFA with socialism

  14. awsomeauldshilale, sorry no one answered, do you mean switched the venue around? I presume to give Cliftonville a better chance financially? not sure as it doesn’t make sense to play in Belfast near the 12th July .

  15. So many trophies being given out. I expect to see Sevco get one for best bus.

me and the family are off to tour europe, we are startin in belfast in july and plan to take in wales and poland in august, then thinking of spain germany, and italy from september till january.

if that goes well, we will try england in march, then spain again in april, then germany again,

then who knows were in may, just for a weekend mind.

could anyone recommend a really top level leather seats and kitchen type coach hire for when we return from out travels ?

needs to have big windows at the front for displaying a big cup.

  18. 16 roads - Neil Lennon walks on water. on

That Mumford & Sons are pish.

    No harm to them.

  19. Mickbhoy1888, very intuitive first rule of marketing give the customer what they want. I suppose you will be used to the shifts at this stage pity you have to talk about your so called fellow fans in such a Tone, no pun intended. If you are a hun provided you make reasoned posts and arguments many will accept that but your approach so far doesn’t give me much hope for you. Hope you prove me wrong.
