Shaping midfield, Tomoki’s run of starts

228

Shaping the midfield for the game before the game is the challenge for Brendan Rodgers on Sunday.  Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate are both likely to be available to him for the trip to the Plastic Pasta Stadium and both would benefit from gametime, although putting them in together would be too much of a risk.

Callum is uber-fit and I have no concerns about him coming in from the cold to a high-pressure environment.  Reo is the man I would concentrate on.  Start him alongside Matt O’Riley with Tomoki Iwata in the holding role.

This would be Tomoki’s sixth successive start.  For a player who (in the main) deputises for the captain, that is more than he would have expected at the start of the season.  It is also enough for you and me to make a proper assessment of the player.

Make sure you enjoy the snacks

I’m sure he is David, I’m sure he is.

  4. Robertson in charge of game on Sunday tells us all we want to know.

For him to be appointed before the meeting today was putting two fingers up to Celtic

Celtics acceptance of this is a disgrace HH

  5. Hoy you I am still here.

i think he is hoping its at 7.50am so he can get the Cyndi Laupers to give him a lift to McKinnons!

    a great strategy!

I too felt Celtic had no need to say that the club would accept the panel’s decision. To me, that suggests they agree with it. Shame.

*hmm I thought that they didnae and were actually disappointed with it

had the club not have issued any statement and had stayed completely silent after the verdict i think that would have got a better message across.

but they dont think like we do

Why is everyone so hung up about the var audio? Surely you all didn’t fall for that fake shit on X did you?

  14. I do not agree this has been a great victory.

Granted we have BR for Ibrox but to achieve this we appear to have dropped the Tynecastle audio and the reason given for the penalty kick, furthermore the SFA have not accepted that the refs are not competent by awarding the same ref the next game.

Thank God, and not like GBHamas and their hangers-on either…..if it did there would be club left for us to support.

Thank God for the 99% that do support through thick and thin. Who needs enemies when GBHamas and their online pals can cost us almost one million in fines and criticise, ridicule, threaten, boycott and disgrace Celtic in a way that the Ibrox club, SFA, SPFL, Referees, the Orange Order and Masonic lodge never have and wouldn’t dare to do?

unlike england VAR in this country is not transparent

    Dougie Dougie, anyone?

So many terrible decisions over the last year (and not just against Celtic)

Getting the transcripts of the audios available for the clubs involved

Is the first step in having the audios made public for the supporters

  17. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

Ooooft……unfortunately it will not be everyone’s bag and with a nod to lies, damn lies and statistics go watch the ascom’s vlog on SFA refs.

    Paranoia?

    We’re not paranoid enough.
