A stalemate was one of the more positive possible outcomes from today’s SPL meeting. Such are the layers of intimidation which have been levelled across a spectrum of football clubs, bodies and individuals in the last week, it was difficult to imagine SPL chairmen standing up for sporting integrity after Sandy Jardine’s ominous words.
Unfortunately, for the Magnificent Duff and Phelps, they will have to shred plans to blame someone else for the shambles they are, kind of, administering. Their creative talents will be taxed to the limit to explain for another two weeks why it is in creditors interests to consume available monies while Craig Whyte has not moved an inch in 10 weeks on demands for his shares of stadium security.
The narrative of this story is also important. Angry Ally could have blamed the SPL chairmen for Rangers imminent descent into oblivion, and demanded to know where they live, but this would have been a corruption of the truth. Rangers will not die because of the SPL or SFA but because their own misdeeds of the last 20 years are about to catch up with them.
This will be their final narrative. Be angry at those who administered and profited from the EBTs, no one else.

……just read chic’s tainted view….
(sorry…’tinted’)
Aye, he tells everybody who he support as well.
Aye!
If the RFC(IA) do get liquidised and let back in to our sporting environment but are given penalties(!) I think it would be gracious of us and all the other teams if they could be awarded say two points for a draw and four for a win. After all it would be the sporting thing to do. What do you think Mr Doncaster.
West Wales Celt –
fair point and you’ve convinced me. It’s not the fans fault. Come on City!

There is no way round this for the Administrators /SFA / SPL …… They are just trying to avoid being threatened / intimidated etc by breaking the bad news to them as gently as possible …..I’m just not sure how you tell them gently ….”yur fecked’

I’ve only been a City fan for 4 minutes but I’m already feeling a lot better in myself. Might listen to Noel Gallagher at half time ;-)
Point is would we reject wealth that brought us signings like Tevez, Ageuro, Balotelli, etc.
Nae – bring it on would be the cry…
Fassreifen @ 19:34 – I did at 14/1. Always put yer money where yer mooth is! :-)

Just magnificent. The greatest display I’ve ever seen in CP.
Got a lot of time for City. Lived in Manchester when they were in division 3. Proper supporters. 25,000 at Maine Road for the visit of Chesterfield.
Anybody else think Carlos Tevez’s beard makes him look like Abraham Lincoln?
Sandman:
Gotta ask as its been bugging me.
The 4 Horsemen: Lenny, Hector, death and ????
Great break out by City there. They are overdue a goal.

There has been plenty to smile about over the last few months but nothing makes me smile like the Thai Tims can, ok maybe CHAZM yesterday, oh, and the huns have had me in stitches. But the Thai Tims are just magic.

Script may be written for him tonight.
Surely its coming bhoys, surely…
Woo-hoo!! Kompany. 1 nil City.
Latest from Manchester
Kirsty and Tyrone play detective to try and find evidence of Terry’s dodgy dealings.
And a goal from Kompany 1 nil City
That will do nicely!!!!!!

So a friend of a friend said … and therein lies the problem with the internet – like the Marco Negri story. We’d like to believe something and the first example we find that does just that, we look no further. We all do it, myself included. But if we are to put them in their place, then proof is what we need, not unsubstantiated rumour
Kompany 1-0. Feck, odds for 2-1 will be poor now! :-(
