SPL stalemate leaves bare truth narrative for Rangers

643

A stalemate was one of the more positive possible outcomes from today’s SPL meeting.  Such are the layers of intimidation which have been levelled across a spectrum of football clubs, bodies and individuals in the last week, it was difficult to imagine SPL chairmen standing up for sporting integrity after Sandy Jardine’s ominous words.

Unfortunately, for the Magnificent Duff and Phelps, they will have to shred plans to blame someone else for the shambles they are, kind of, administering.  Their creative talents will be taxed to the limit to explain for another two weeks why it is in creditors interests to consume available monies while Craig Whyte has not moved an inch in 10 weeks on demands for his shares of stadium security.

The narrative of this story is also important.  Angry Ally could have blamed the SPL chairmen for Rangers imminent descent into oblivion, and demanded to know where they live, but this would have been a corruption of the truth.  Rangers will not die because of the SPL or SFA but because their own misdeeds of the last 20 years are about to catch up with them.

This will be their final narrative.  Be angry at those who administered and profited from the EBTs, no one else.

Also emailed Uefa on Friday morning asking them to become involved because of the threats coming out of ibrokes to punish anyone who votes against them.

Also emailed the Sfa regarding mccoist and jardines comments and lack of punishment.

Doncaster said the vote was delayed because ‘passions were running high’ well he has done nothing to calm them tonight – he should also have had a word with Ragen about Sally and Sandy comments which are inflaming the situ

Scotland does indeed have 2 clubs in next season’s CL qualifiers.

Celtic start in the 3rd qualifier for champions, while the 3rd placed club goes into the 3rd qualifier for non-champions.

  6. How come this is the best league in the world and yet this game is absolute rubbish, and these are the 2 best teams in it. Sky make it out to be something really special and imho it is anything but, the crowds are not evn lifting the game.

  7. Duffnpelps still talking about a CVA. Who do they think they are fooling?

Oh that’s right. Hun media and stupid

does anyone know if its 2 Scottish clubs for Champions league qulaifiers NEXT SEASON ?

    +++++

Nope, if you mean who qualifies from next season’s league, only one team in the Champions League, at the 2nd qualifying round, i.e. when we win the league next season we have to play 3 rounds of qualifiers.

The upshot of this is that our first game is against the champs of Estonia (or similar).

mrob1967 – they can’t hold a candle to El Classico.

BB/4GF – the giants in charge of the game at the SFA and SPL are too scared to be seen as the ones who put the final nail in the coffin of Rankers FC. They’re waiting on HMRC doing the business!

Mate i phoned SFA and got through to that clown Broadfoot’s answering machine and i emailed the SFA, no reply, corrupt organisation.

The only way we will STOP this and that is if Celtic come out and say they won’t participate in a corrupt league.

Somehow i also have a sneaky feeling Celtic want Huns in the SPL for financial reasons but again i hope I’m wrong.

Doncaster and the SPL have been in negotiations for weeks with TBK and Miller, sounds like they have been trading off the huns charge sheet, before any money has changed hands.

alextomo isn’t a friend of ours, nor is he an enemy. He is ambivalent to them also.

alextomo, as I’m sure he’d admit, is a friend of alextomo.

I’ve no doubt he wants to rummage through the remains of the succulent lamb, for the story value, but some of his titbits carry a scent of superiority, like a Victorian anthropologist reporting on two primitive amazonian tribes.

I’ve seen nothing material from him, and I don’t expect anything.

Ogilvy is an employee of the SFA and as such should be insuring that all the teams are playing to the rules – he should be whistle blowing on the dual contracts – otherwise he is failing in his duty th his employer
