When I saw the team I said it gave me the fear… Ange is still learning how tough the SPFL can be away … ..reserve teams win f all……mcgregor was as bad tonight as he was good on Sunday…….MJ deary me …just place the ball into the net …not every shot has to be a rocket ffs !!!

I play for the worst team in our rubbish league. We score more from corners than celtic. And defend them better. What an utterly disgusting waste of set pieces from anges team. Every single game. RC, 1 corner, goal. Hibs the same. Is, 20 corners produce absolutely nothing. Every game. And free kicks at the box, all are wasted. No complaints about the cheats tonight, we probably gave away the league tonite through dreadful tactics. Moffat 0/10. Abada same. MJ is a waster every game, 0/10.
You don’t win games playing at walking pace against 11 behind the ball without a striker. Our ‘big’ players were very poor while Johnston and Moffat weren’t great we were also let down by our first team regulars
Look at the depth Sevco have and yet we are at the stage of relying on MJ, Abada and Moffat. Unbelievable.
We went into this season with one senior winger (JF), who hadn’t kicked a ball in a year. Outwith that we have MJ (unproven and unreliable), 19 year old Abada and 22 Jota (signed on 1st September). I’m not counting our youth players, as the ones noted are youth players themselves.
We are a complete joke in the football department. We required a huge rebuild in the summer and still decided to make a profit on our transfer and leave the manager with a threadbare squad.
Terrible, really bad.

Yes we are missing key players, but seriously, some those wearing Celtic shirts tonight…..
Give the ball first time to the wingers, or put it inside. Take the defence on,playing across them for 90 minutes is boring crap.

The wastefulness in front of goal has finally caught up on us. It was all a bit flat and I’m sure Ange will get a bit of stick for the line up and I thought Greg Taylor should have been on ten minutes earlier. Scales will have better games. He looked a bit lost at times.
Bigger picture, when we were 6 poibts behind previously my own view was that the job at that point was to be no worse off at new year. We are still in that territory but Boxing day becomes all the more important. No way are st mirren taking anything at ibrox. We have to win in Perth.
Well done to St Mirren by the way. They knew what they had to do and they did it.

I agree about the refs but if we continue to be this poor the refs can give rangers opponents the penalties and we could still lose the league.
Alas a game too far and unfortunately the shit-show of last season has caught up with us.
It dawned on me watching the the Ross County game that the rebuilding job has a long, long way to go.
Without Kyogo and Jota we have absolutely nothing front.
Think about it: Forrest hasn’t kicked a ball for 18 months, Ajeti hasn’t kicked a ball since he arrived. It took Jackass 2 months to get fit and the only contribution he’s made is the most awful penalty you’ll ever see. Abada is a woefully inconsistent project, nothing more.
Then we have Mikey Johnson. You always knew the game was up when he was thrown on for the last 15/20 minutes as Celtic chased the game. You knew nothing would happen. For the past few games he’s been on from the start and showed us that he contributes absolutely nothing. Sutton is spot on, he’s a complete show pony.
Massive rebuilding still to be done in the final third.

Moffat a good couple of years away from first team, but I hope the wee man’s memories of his debut aren’t tainted by the result. Chin up – hope he has a great career at Celtic

Understand the changes given Kyogo just back from a hamstring injury – need to play the longer-game.

Simply put that squad is never winning the league and our board will sit back and watch sevco take the champions league money. 6 points and counting, I reckon we will lose the league by 12 points min.
While our board were counting the penny’s in the bank they were spending, looks like the gamble will pay of and we will spend the next few years getting royally pumped.
Oh and Johnston I as useless as a wet paper bag.

How many high cross balls do we have to try before we recognise that it suits the St. Mirren back line. No creativity middle to front, no driving into the penalty box inviting miss-timed tackles and a resulting penalty kick, no longer range shots forcing deflections and mahem in the penalty box. A very disappointing tactical failure.
The team looked weary, lacking in pace and speed of thought. The team needs a rest, and an infusion of quality and energy

Looked so good in last year’s pre seasons and then…nothing!
We owned this game but it reminded me of so many Lennyball matches where we were baffled by 10 defenders. No-one creative enough to unpick the lock.
Like many, I just don’t see Johnstone as a 1st teamer. Struggling to see Abada that way too.

Kyogo can’t play every game and needed a rest tonight. That’s fair enough. But why not name him on the bench as the insurance policy ?
MJ, Abada, Forrest (injuries) can’t be relied on and we need to strengthen the front areas.
At best, we’re going in to the break 6 behind. McDiarmid Park will be tough as well given our lack of depth. It’s simply a must win.

that was brutal , pitiful corners/free kicks and shooting for goal , do we never learn how to break down a packed piss poor defence its not as if we haven’t came us against it before. ANGE blundered big time again not having at least the B team striker on the bench or Kyogo.
For a few days we have been hearing people on,again telling us that MJ,is the real deal.He is a useless waste of space with a bit of dribbling talent.If he had the heart and determination of Tony Ralston he would be.
No idea what Ange was watching tonight,Rogic stumbled around the full game,mishitting passes,poor 1st touch,should have been hooked and Henderson sent on.At least try to change it.Putting Juranovic on to get better crosses in,stick Scales to CF,give us some height.Greg Taylor to give us some grit,determination,down the left.Anything except to walk off that pitch having done nothing.

Ironic . After watching the lions last night conquer defensive anti-football from Europe’s top team , I’ve just watch a St Mirren reserve side put a big dent in our league hopes by playing anti – football .
I thought we were much better when Juranovic came on. He should have been in much sooner. Barring that there was nothing else on offer from the bench.

I just re-read my post and realised it didn’t reflect how absolutely scunnered I feel.
Never mentioned Abada – good start with us, but definitely need a first team player ahead of him. Won’t criticise too much – he’s being asked to do a job he’s not done before to cover CF – multi-million CFs before him have been much worse.

Not one team has had the injuries that we’ve had. Our team has been decimated….and yet here we are 2nd in the league. Six points is no way insurmountable, and after our injuries clear up…and 2 or 3 additions to the squad….we’ll be unbeatable

Yep and Jota is a loan. When you consider that CCV is a loan, we are very short on our own quality.
Anti football from St Mirren- a newco team might have started diving, we didn’t, thankfully.
Conditions poor, perfect game for a big Greek centre forward…….
We just need to get into after the break with a fit, refreshed squad with a few signings and I see us romping it after the break in much better conditions. Couldn’t say that last season. And I get some (maybe me) have a bit of ptsd from last season, but as I say, it’s different this time around.
Still lots of hope guys and girls, don’t let it ruin the holidays.
