Good pass from Alves to make amends for the opening goal. The wee man did the rest.

48 hours later this stinks even more for me.
There is an absolutely fabulous post at 09:17 today on TSFM re eligibility.
But it was having to listen to McCoist yesterday evening claiming that ‘Rangers’ had been vindicated of any cheating accusation by the report, and in a sense he is right.
Despite recognising deliberate non-disclosure, LNS in almost the next breath says there was no dishonesty. Wtf?
He then elsewhere states that the motivation was tax avoidance but also claims no sporting advantage gained. The only possible explanation I can see for this interpretation is that other clubs could have used EBTs according to FTT verdict. But what about the 5 players on whose payments Rangers conceded PAYE and NIC should have been paid.
Keeping their titles stinks enough, but LNS appears to have gone beyond his remit to preempt any cheating allegations as well. UTT will be our last bite of the cherry in this respect I fear.

Fifty goals for the season for Lionel. Not bad for March 2.
A 2-1 victory in a cup quarter final will do me everyday of the week.

Kojo – whilst you are about, I think Joe Ledley has been in really good form recently and I know you are a constant critic of his game, what’s your thoughts now?

TinyTim @15:02 do you think some of our players are making sure they are injury free for the transfer melee?
It’ll start early for Celtic, given that our season will end soon.
Very soon if we don’t reach a final.
I’m under the impression that most of the squad think they’ve done enough already for one season and that Wednesday is just a clocking-in, chore of an evening.

There is nowt wrong with seeking and highlighting the positives and SUPPORTING the team through thick and thin.
Re being bullied. Note the absence of Brown.
He has his critics but his energy and aggression is being missed. /

Still.. Laughin’.. though.
Thought we done a professional job although a bit sloppy at the back.
The players obviously have an eye on the juve game.
We have no god given rite to roll teams over week in week out.
So when we win whoever it’s against I’m a happy man.
No CQN access all game. No response for server. I guess it was just iPad users?
Good to get that game out of our system.
We were poor and we won.
Below par performances from a few players.
What I can’t understand is why James Forrest was starved of service all 2nd half.
He was the really bright spot of the first 45, some may so the only one.
We should have been feeding the ball to him every move.
We didn’t.
Why?
We demand to know who was responsible.

There were more pluses than some people are making out.
Joe Ledley was excellent.
Sorry pal beg to differ……..scored a goal, interception
in the box, and did not have any other influence in the game
rarely does.
This is a 100% improvement on our previous cup tie with St. Mirren. And that’s called progress.
What’s the moaning on the blog all about?!? :-)
I’m no happyclapper but delighted with the result today, who cares how we beat them, we beat them, we’re in the semi, their no, that’ll do for me.
Valentine’s Day
Fine. But, ask yourself why St Mirren’s main tactic of the long diagonal on top of Emilio Izaguirre stopped working.

Leave the professionals to do their job.
As Billy Connolly used to respond to hecklers:
“Don`t tell me how to do my job.Do I tell you how to sweep the streets?”
Lennie knows best about Tony Watt et al.
That`s his job.
Keep well,my fellow Tim.
And keep calling it.
Come on Barca
NL does not look like he will go for broke on Wednesday.
Same old same old is what I expect.
